Reneé Bragg Glazener

Reneé Bragg Glazener touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her compassionate spirit and love of life. She was born in Dallas, Texas on January 7, 1964 and left her earthly home on the morning of March 7, 2004 in Edmond, OK. From the time she was a small child she only wanted to be a nurse, a wife, and a mother. Reneé married her high school sweetheart, Phillip Glazener, in 1983 and together they began a life filled with unsurpassed love, hospitality and service to their family, friends, and community. Her son, Dylan Glazener, age 9, was the light of her life. She had great pride in her nursing profession and had a huge extended family of friends, neighbors and co workers who were always precious to her. She knew no strangers and touched every life she met in a special way. She was quick to laugh that contagious laugh and to give comfort and love to anyone who needed her. She is survived by her husband, Phil, her son, Dylan, her parents, Les Bragg, Dallas, TX, Elaine Bragg, Tulsa, OK, three siblings: DeEtte, Wade, and Darrell Bragg. Her mothers and fathers in law Jan & Virgil Butler and Judy & Dorsey Glazener and her four brothers in law; Tab, Stephen, Matthew, and Marcus, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. We ask that you join us in celebration of her life on Thursday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mercy Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial gifts be made in honor of Reneé Glazener to the Mercy Foundation, 4300 W. Memorial Road, OKC, 73120.

I think of you and miss you everyday.  You were my best friend and always there for me.  I think often about the last time we were together and the things we were worried about.  It is amazing how our fears come true at times.  Dillon is amazing and has your beatiful hair.  Love you always and miss you often.
