Susan married Charles Newcomb in 1999. She lived in Edmond. She worked in radio and movie promotions for a while. Then, she worked in real estate for a while with her dad and eventually went back to school to teach. She had just started teaching high school in the fall of 1998 when she was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on her ovary. Despite surgery, chemo, & radiation, she passed away in the fall of 1999.
