In Memory

Tracy Len Smalley

Tracy Len Smalley

SMALLEY Tracy Len, 25 of OKC, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, Nov 12, 1989 after he bravely fought his short illness of cancer. He left behind family, and many dear friends, who were with him through his battle, that seems to many, a battle fought in vain. He was born Nov 14, 1963 in OKC, to Jerry and Shirley Smalley. He was a member of All Souls Episcopal Church. He was a 1982 graduate of Edmond H.S. He was a senior at Central State University, majoring in Public Administration. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Shirley Smally, of Edmond, 2 brothers, Gerald Smalley, of OKC, and George Smalley, of Edmond; 2 half brothers, Cecil and Stephen Smalley, of Muskogee, OK; a sister, Mary Smalley, of Edmond; grandmother, Mary Anakney, of Springfield, OH; grandfather, Ferman Steely, of Muskogee, OK. We will miss Tracy. He was certainly a strong man and knew how to hide the pain. Through these last three months, he wore his beautiful smile, to reassure us he was okay. But the pain he was actually going through went much deeper than any of us could ever imagine. There are many questions we will always have about why the Lord took his precious son home so soon. But he will always be the champ to all of us who knew and loved him dearly. Thank you Lord for letting us take care of your son for the past twenty five years. "Only one life, It will soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will Last." Services will be Tuesday, Nov 14, 1989, 2:30pm, at Colonial Chapel North.
