Mr. John Edward Stiltner, age 52 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Stiltner was born October 17, 1964 in Clinton, Maryland. He graduated from Edmond High School in Edmond, OK, Class of 1980, received his bachelor's degree from Central State University in Edmond, OK, and graduated with his MBA from Mercer University. He worked as an accountant for the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his parents, Hank and Rosemary Stiltner of Ellijay, GA; Thirteen aunts and uncles, many cousins, and his favorite dog Jake. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday November 12th, 2016 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Homeward Bound Pet Rescue at P.O. Box 792, Ellijay, GA or to the Build An Ark Animal Rescue at 27 Eagle Mountain Drive, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mr. Stiltner.
