Craig Carlsen, a longtime resident of Edmond Oklahoma, died unexpectedly on May 5, 2021 at the age of 57 at home. Craig is survived by his wife, Susan Carlsen (Hill); his children, Tyler and Ashley Carlsen; his father Gene Carlsen and his wife Sharon; his mother Sally Canion and her husband Ken; his sister Genelle O'Donnel, and brothers Greg and Eric Carlsen. Craig was born in Garden Grove, CA on February 5, 1964 to Gene and Florence (Sally) Carlsen. He graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1982. On May 24, 1986 he married his high school sweetheart, they were together for 40 years. On November 6, 1990 and October 7, 1992 respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful children who were the most important part of his life. Craig was a devoted father and loving husband and loyal to a fault. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music and helping his wife start projects. He was the cook in the family and was well known for his briskets and BBQ. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
