MCCAIN, Mary Kathryne (Kassy) McCain, born May 29, 1959 in Oklahoma City, died in Dallas, TX on July 31, 2006. Kassy was the daughter of Sally and Bill McCain, and is survived by her father, and brother, Tommy McCain and his daughter Sally Alina of Scottsdale, Arizona. Kassy is also survived by her aunt, Mary Kay Quade of Oklahoma City, who was her rock after her mother died in 1982. Kassy lived in Edmond and attended Edmond schools starting in kindergarten until her senior year when she attended Heritage Hall and graduated in 1977. After high school, Kassy attended the University of Denver and the New York Fashion Institute in New York City. Kassy also had a great time working as a singer in several hotels in Las Vegas before moving to Dallas in 1984. She was blessed with so many talents received from God. Kassy was passionate about travel. During her life, Kassy traveled all over the world and truly enjoyed seeing new sights, experiencing new cultures, and meeting new and exciting people. Kassy had lived in Dallas for over 20 years and will be remembered and missed by her many friends all over the world.
