Joanne is survived by her parents, Walter and Eileen Orysiuk; her sisters Kathy Orysiuk (David Purdy) of Toronto and Sandra (Marten) Rhead of Calgary and her brother Tom (Heidi) Orysiuk of Edmonton. She will be especially fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Thomas, Suzy, Mitchell, Brooklyn, Eryn and Luke. Joanne obtained her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1985 and articled in Edmonton before moving to Calgary where she worked hard building a very successful and vibrant legal practice. In her career and with friends she was generous to a fault. With unsurpassed integrity she was extremely loyal and witty.
