Audrey May Cormier was born May 31, 1963 in Sherbrooke Quebec into the loving family of Louise and Normand Cormier. Audrey had three sisters, Jocelyne, Danielle and Suzanne; and four brothers, Richard, JeanMarc, Claude, Normand Jr. and Robert. The Cormier family moved from Sherbrooke, Quebec to Edmonton, Alberta in 1977. Upon graduating from high school Audrey married David Nooy and was blessed to have three children: Sheena, Suzanne and David Jr. Her grandchildren: Cody, Braydon, Emma, Chantelle and Levi brought her great joy and laughter.

Audrey moved to Saskatoon in 2002. In 2004 she attended Faith Alive Bible College, graduating in 2006 with a Diploma in Practical Theology with distinction. In 2008 she convocated with a Bachelor of Theology degree and was working on her Doctorate at the time of her death.

Having triumphed over great challenges in life, Audrey lit up the lives of everyone she touched. She was a joy to be around, she gave you her undivided attention and she made you feel special. She was known for her acts of kindness and her deep abiding love for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Lord isn't slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. He doesn't want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and change the way they think and act 2 PETER 3:9 (GWT).

My dear friend. Too many years have passed since we last spoke. I will
always hold you close in my heart and remember all of the good times we
shared. I was so glad to hear that you had found peace in your faith, and
that you were living a contented life. You left a wonderful legacy in your
three beautiful children and five lovely grandchildren. I will continue to
watch over your babies. Love always, Brenda

Sorry to Audrey's family. I am very sad for your loss and ours, Audrey was a very special lady with grace and meaning...Audrey was in all my homeroom classes and always had a smile and laugh during the start of the day. I envied her beauty and zest. Sad that we don't stop to spend the time God grants us. I will think of you often....Jacquie Brodeur
