I've mostly been up to developing into a misanthropic curmudgeon, although I tried to have some laughs along the way. After CHS I went to college back in Indiana, where I grew up. Then worked on the creative side in marketing and advertising in Kansas and Oklahoma before moving to Nevada (Reno, then Las Vegas). After twenty years in the commercial sector I changed careers (college professor) and ended up directing the design and digital media program at a public college in the Colorado mountains for many years. A couple years back we moved to Reno, NV to be near my wife's extended family. I dread the boring prospect of retiring, so these days I develop training for a public power utility company. I get to enjoy my grandchildren whenever I can force myself to go to Florida (I despise Florida), but spend most of my free time looking for a decent pub trivia game (Reno's offerings are decidedly sub-par).

I recall many, many good times at CHS, many involving triggering outrage from the CHS administration (a comically easy thing to do). The great majority of my classmates were people whose company I enjoyed so there was rarely a day that didn't generate a fond memory. I'm sure I don't fully appreciate how fortunate I was to have an experience that resulted in both meeting lifelong friends (RIP Rick Anderson) and developing a healthy disrespect for authority.
