Has anybody seen or heard from Shelly Ramos? What is that woman up to? The last time I saw her she was heading for Spain for a student exchange thing back in college.

Now PARTY!! Sex,Drugs,Rck-n-Rll. If U dont beleive me ask Rick...oops Rik :) "If its 2 Loud UR Old" and the Class of 88 will never get old no matter how gray we get.

Nicely done Sergio! I say we 'toast' for the sake of toasting at least a number greater than ten times during each night of the reunion. :) Have you guys done Fernet? Yum, yum! I know this sounds crazy, but if you have gone out with friends and you aren't feeling great... do a shot, no do a couple of shots of that stuff and I swear, you'll actually feel a ton better and it's not just because of the alcohol! It's contains a huge amount of herbs - including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, aloe, and saffron... I've been very sick (the type when you should be in bed)and had to play a show and very reluctantly decided to take the bartender's advice and drink a shot of this stuff... it was disgusting, but I felt better, wasn't sick the next day and got through the gig... am I rambling? Oops, too much coffee. Phew.

Gloria...I am sure there are no chirping crickets when you are on stage. I remember you being funny. Oh and i loved the "spanish class" email you sent me. Hilarious...I could so relate...Everyone here in Laredo has a housekeeper.

Okay everyone....I guess u all misunderstood the point I was trying to make. I was not complaining about the loudness of the music, I guess I was just hoping that we could sit and have a conversation. Hell, no one loves it louder than I do!! I've seen Iron Maiden live 3 times this year alone!! so, NO I am NOT getting old....therefore, allow me to retract my statement....the band kicked ass!! and they do play and extensive variety of music. Cheers to everyone!!! and rock and roll all night!!!
By the way,is anyone going to MOTLEY CRUE, this Saturday, at Albuquerque??? if so get in touch, with me. I'm driving, so maybe we can share the ride!

07/24/08 04:11 AM #707

Ray Lombrana

Hey Angel, I was planning on seeing Motley Crue but my nephew is in town so I have to pass on it. I did go see Metallica in Tuscon and then Iron Maiden the following week in Albuquerque. I'm guessing you were also at the Iron Maiden concert in May. Both concerts were great. Did you make the trip up to Tuscon for Metallica?

07/24/08 10:35 AM #708

Mike Grijalva

Hey Ray, are you still going to get tickets for the New Kids On The Block reunion tour? How was the Cher concert you were all excited about, that was in Vegas wasn't it? I got so tired of hearing Cher in the background every time I called you.

07/24/08 02:58 PM #709

Ray Lombrana

Hey Mike. No I won't be able to buy those front row NKOTB tickets from you. It looks like you're going solo on that one. Maybe Manny Barajas can go with you. Sorry to ditch you. I'll give you a chili dog to make up for it. About Cher, I didn't make that one either. When you told me how Celine Dion was way better and you were uspset when Celine didn't extend her contract and Cher took over the venue I lost interest. I felt like I would betray you if I went to see Cher. You know I always take your advice on these things. Give me the heads up on Barry Manilow when you see him this weekend. XOXOXOXO

Rik Avalos

Hey Ray, Mike,

I have some Culture Club Reunion tickets I've been trying unload. Let me know if you're interested. :)

07/24/08 05:52 PM #711

Mike Grijalva

Ouch.

07/24/08 06:05 PM #712

Melissa Mendez (Thompson)

Ok now boys... real men can rock out to Cher : )

Seriously though, I am starting to get excited to see everyone. Even though I did't really know too many of you out there, it will be fun to get reintroduced~

All you out of towners... who is staying with family and when are you all headed in? If anyone is up for a pre gathering on Thursday night Becky and I would love to meet up with you. I feel out of the loop not being able to join in on all your pre reunion parties out there so lets shoot for one more!

07/24/08 06:55 PM #713

Mike Grijalva

I fly in Tuesday, so a gathering Thursday should work fine. I'm staying with family, and I have access to designated drivers, so in addition to hanging out, I'm all about getting my drink on.

Many of you I haven't met either, so it will be nice to meet, and "re-meet", so many people.

Ray, bring your Cher CD's will you? Rik wants them, or better yet, make a power-mix!

07/24/08 07:14 PM #714

Melissa Mendez (Thompson)

Sounds great Mike... We will figure out a time and then maybe will all still be buzzed by Friday night~

Im trying to get everything in sync right now. I am off for a national conference in New Orleans and will be gone for 8 days so after that I will really be looking forward to going home for a little R&R and seeing all of you!

07/24/08 07:25 PM #715

Ray Lombrana

lol..... Thanks Rik but didn't Boy George give you those tickets because he wants the outfits you borrowed returned to him after the concert? I wouldn't upset him if I were you. We all want to see you at the reunion and it would be a sad day if you didn't make it because George chained you up to a hook on a wall of his apartment and made you sing. "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME" Trust me. That's not fun. George can be vicious. I need to start carrying some of Becky's special "couple massage oils" with me in case it happens again. Just remember if George tells you he has some candy in his apartment, don't believe him. lol

He looks innocent but WATCH OUT!

Brilliant Ray! LOL I wouldn't be able to stand it without some serious El Paso 'Ribbin'. :)

Becky, Are you ok? Did Dolly really do that much damage out there? Let us know something?

Anyone heard from Becky, you know she is in Laredo and news here in El Paso said they got hit hard with Hurricane Dolly? Let me know something.

Sorry don't mean to stop the fun stuff but this is one of our family......

Rebecca Zambrano (Morales)

Chris....my house is flooded and i need to stay at your house for awhile. Oh...one thing...we are nudists...thats OK right?
Thanks for caring. Really it was no big deal...Just a bit of rain...Of course, the whole town shut down waiting for the storm but it never came. I guess that is a good thing. Hey, I just realized no one in my real family cared to call me! Thanks again, I love my new Burges family:).
Can't wait to see you all.
Oh and on another note...Someone needs to spank these boys that are behaving badly...yes, you Rik, Ray and Mike. Can anyone dig up the old paddle the coaches were supposed to have?

07/25/08 12:45 PM #723

Christine Seelig

Becky, sure you can stay with me, its all good that you all are nudists, i don't think the pastor and his wife that live next door will mind....lol. I'm glad that everyone is ok and that you didn't get hit like the news stated. Guess you can't believe everything you hear or see. Can't wait to see everyone as well.

Hey Alma, what's going on? Talked to Jenn and she said they were gonna attend. Hope San Fran was able to stand more that one 88 classmate or did it go dry? Take care.

07/25/08 12:50 PM #724

Jose Santos

Becky, glad to hear you and yours are ok.

Man...we are going from "poptart infatuation" to paddles!!
I dont know how things where for the MacArthur folks but for you Ross Alumni, do you all remember fearing the "almighty Hartley or Morales paddles"?? I remember getting swatted by Coach Hartley!! That truly sucked especially after football practice! Anyhoo, again, I am glad that you are in good spirits after the storm Becky!

07/25/08 12:57 PM #725

Mike Grijalva

Hey Becky, I'm down with a good spanking anytime, but that's for another message board. }: )

07/25/08 01:24 PM #726

Christine Seelig

Kid, wasn't there a science teacher name Mr. Femat? The one with the big a** paddle? I remember at Ross alot of guys got it, it was huge and had holes in it.
