Hey Chris,

Obama is half white... doesn't that make him as much white as he is black? :) LOL

Just kidding.

Hey,anyone going to be around for the Holidays? I'll be there from November 25th through the following Sunday. Would be great to see y'all again!

By the way, I don't think I have ever been as emotional during an election and proud to be an American as I was on election day... I'm very happy to see Barack as our President. This is going to be a turning point in our American History.

Rik,

I agree, it was very emotional. I'm proud too, the most emotional part of his speach is when he acknowledged the 106 yr. old woman that voted early. She has seen a whole lot in her life and to see and witness this change is awesome.

As far as being in town, man I live here, give me a call and we can go out and have some fun. I think we might be able to get the breakfast crew out as well if they are up to it. Maybe Toni and Lorena can join us is they are back from VEGAS? Anyhow you got my number call me.

To the Breakfast Club and anyone else that's interested. Toni, Nikki, & I are trying to work out something fun that everyone will enjoy for this coming Saturday, Nov. 22. Give me a call at 256-3695 if you want to add your input. I'd love to hear from you.

Grace, unfortunately, I don't get on here very often, so I barely saw your message. Hopefully, you'll still be around on the 22nd, so we can catch up. If not, I saved your number, so I can give you a call and we can catch up that way. Hope you had a fun weekend!

Happy belated birthday, Michelle. What a gross oversight by the present members of the "breakfast club!!"

11/17/08 11:39 PM #1287

Christine Seelig

Michelle, I am so sorry that I missed the chance to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Hope you had a wonderful day. Let me know when you all are getting together, if I'm in town then I will surely go.

11/18/08 02:10 PM #1288

Michele Casteel (Amezcua)

Thanks, Manny & Chris! I stink at remembering birthdays, so I'm always very at ease with people not remembering mine. At this point, I just keep turning 25 over and over again anyways. :-) Hopefully, I'll get to hang out with you guys this Saturday. We're still working out the kinks, but the plan is definitely to get together this Saturday.

By the way, thanks Edna! As always, the birthday cards you post are really cute.

Michelle - Happy Belated B-Day! Sorry, I was too busy partying it up in Vegas and forgot. Had a blast!!! Hope you had a great day. I will call you later to discuss our next outing.

FYI:
For those of you who remember Rene Rios (Class of 1987), I just wanted to let everyone know that he passed away on Thurday, November 13, 2008. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Melissa Mendez (Thompson)

I just heard about Rene Rios... this is very sad. Does anyone know what happened. Rene was one of my very first boyfriends and the last time I saw him he took me to dinner in 1990 shortly before I moved to California. His aunt lived directly across from my Grandmother..

Melissa
Not sure what happened. I found out because I work with his mom. We received an email letting us of his passing but no more info. It is really sad, he was such a nice guy.

Breakfast Club:

It looks like Nikki and Rodger can't make it on Saturday afterall, so they are going to be at the Hydrant at 8:30pm this Friday.

I can't make it on Friday (sorry, I can't fall asleep in class again), so I'm still going out on Saturday. For those of you who can make it on Saturday, we are starting the night by meeting at the Three Legged Monkey at 8:30 pm. We tried to make it a more central location for those of you who live on the westside.

Too bad we can't all get together at the same time, but everyone is still invited to whichever night is more convenient....or you can live dangerously and go to both. ;-D

11/21/08 01:43 PM #1293

Adriana Fernandez

Hello to all. I won't be able to make it. I have a family function to attend on Saturday and my hubby is coming into to town, also. Next time for sure. Michelle, so sorry for the oversight. Hope you enjoyed your special day. Toni, Lorena, Michelle, Ray, Angel.........anyone else that's going out this weekend; "have a delicious Colorado bulldog for me." Call me for any other get together.

HOWDY EVERYONE...HOPE LIFE IS TREATING EVERYONE WELL...
I JUST HERD THE NEW SINGLE FROM GUNS AND ROSES..PRETTY GOOD....MY MOTHER AND I USE TO LOVE GUNS AND ROSES...CANT WAIT FOR THE CD RELEASE.... :)

Michele Casteel (Amezcua)

Thanks, Toni, Ray, and Angel for making it out on Saturday night. I know you guys were tired, so it means even more that you dragged yourselves out. :-) Adriana and Nikki, thanks for the nice Birthday wishes. I hear the get-together on Friday night was lots of fun, too. Hopefully, next time, we'll all be free on the same night. As for me, it's study, study, study for the next couple of months, so it was nice to get out on Saturday before locking myself away from the world for two months straight. Take care!

11/25/08 04:14 PM #1296

Missy Holguin

Michelle: I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I wish I could have gone on Saturday but I had family "stuff," the kind that if you miss your mother gets pissed and gives you the evil eye for weeks!! Ha ha! We've all been there. I definitely want to go the next time The Breakfast Club goes out, I promise not to make out with the bartender if he's not cute! Oh, and we are not getting older, just more FABULOUS! Don't work too hard and remember, even students need an occasional break!

For Everyone: Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, be safe, and
God bless.

Hey all, Just wanted to know how things are going and hope everyone is staying warm.

For my Dallas folks, there is a HUGE event this Saturday at 10am at the Omni Hotel at 1590 LBJ Freeway about my company and the services we provide to families across America. The special guest speaker is a good friend of mine and business partner out of El Paso, Mr. Eddie Peters and I would love the opportunity for you all to meet him. Give me a call if interested and I can get you put on the guest list. Thanks ahead of time and look forward to hearing from you 915-253-9217.
