Hey Jeff, I ran in to Chuck's mom and I got her the information to pass on to him and she said that it was exciting to know that we were all getting together and keeping in touch and setting this reunion up. Thanks for everything that you all are doing in setting this up and finding others in our class. Got some information out to Al Talavera as well and he said he would contact the EP fire fighters that graduated with us. Thanks again.

Adriana, any luck in finding Twana Malone? That girl was a awesome b-ball player as well as a good friend.

wow the song that brings back many memories is the one you have on the home page, A Little Respect, man that reminds me so much of the Copa, hell after a few slammers at spankies and then some coronas at the derby i would be so tipsy and just swaying across the dance floor at the Copa.

As far as famous people, I have met my mentor Mr. Robert Kiyosaki world renown author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", Know Brian Young, New Orleans Rams, Lee Mays, Steelers, I knew Eddie Guerrero personally he went to high school at Jeff with my older sister and he had a huge crush on her. I've met Debbie Green, USA volleyball player in 1988, several years ago she was the coach for Hawaii, hell there are several more but the memories of high school are just overwhelming. Whew think I need a BEER!!!

I met Niko Liko back in the late 70s... I was probably ten or so. I'll never forget that moment of glory. Of course, I've met people like Rae Dawn Chong, Stephanie Seymour, Vicente Fernandez, Edith Gonzalez, Thalia ...but heck, nothing tops Niko Liko.

Niko Liko was a clown-like TV character who appeared on XEJ-TV channel 5 from 1973 through 1992. This character's influence is until today a favorite topic to people who lived those years at the borderline of Cd.Juárez,Chihuahua-El Paso,Texas-Las Cruces,New Mexico.

Niko Liko's actual name is Antonio Gaytan Muruato, and was born in 1940.

BUT I DONT REMEMBER HIM .......LOL

I wasn't much of a party animal in high school so not many may remember me but I will say now I have some regrets.

Can't take a few days off of the site, too many posts to respond to.
Adriana, good call on the songs. I probably won't make the family day (no kids) so I'm not the one to organize anything other than a happy hour for those not bringing little ones. :)
Joe, can't wait to see the pics! Good times. And you have to sing some classic Suite 69 tunes!
Anyone remember the summer schedule? Wed Drink and Drown, Thurs Cosmos, Friday The Sub/Corner/Copa or Hard times/English Pub, Sat Tequila Derby/Copa. Sunday any place and Monday...Drive Inn (day off) Mel Bretsch will!
Ahh, the U2 experience - great time Edna!
Too many songs but I always smile and think of graduation when Don't You (Forget About Me) comes on.

Angel - My respects señor, your lucha libre expertise is...impressive. I was lucha libre fan back when I was a kid, so all this new luchadores I just don't know...but flama roja was my fav.

Adriana - Cepillin, I had all his records ( LPs) ... I thought the Niko Liko comment would spark some comments..haha..actually he was kinda freaky

Sonia - Topo Gigio..I love that mouse. I think is never too late to be a rebel and be a party animal...at least for a day.

Lisa - I know, me & my comments. Thanks to Marty and wikipedia for the brief bio of Niko Liko.
Marty - C'mon... You were a niko liko fan...accept it.

Ok I have a little less than a hundred names to finish the whole list of classmates... i will then put out a missing in action list and maybe the group can help find the rest. It looks like it will be about 50 names out of the four hundred and some odd people... The rest we either have a phone number or an address to work with..

Lisa thank you so much for getting three more names...and Tury of all people. Known him since second grade.

This weekend i have a bunch living on the Westside of El paso and will make a couple of stops this weekend to touch basis with them.

here's a few more we have addresses for that now live out of town.... Lana Couder,Yvonne Nevarez, Toni Sheffield, Robert Notley, Michael Barrett, Cindy Ramirez,Bronwyn Dylla, Bill Thompson, Monica Arras and more.

And those that already know about the website, i hope they sign up soon... they are missing out...this is so much fun hearing from everyone.

*** Two more names i cant find....
Irma Carrillo and Millie Garcia

Don't any of you sleep?!?!? I don't know much about all those wrestlers. I just know Burges High wrestling. Yeah! A little bit about Niko Liko, but call me old-school, more about Cantinflas. I may be white, but (growing up in E.P.) I know I'm right! Dang, Angel you know a lot of famosos. Are you in show-biz now?

Songs: Let's see... Call of Ktulu - Metallica, Rocket Queen - GNR, Somebody Save Me - Cinderella, Still of the Night - Whitesnake, the entire Vision Quest soundtrack. Bad stuff, I know.

Ms. Casteel mentioned her first kiss... I remember mine. It was on Harry Hines Blvd. in downtown Dallas. Nevermind, bad joke.
