Dawn always had a smile on her face. I only recount a handful of times that she was down. I loved her hair, her own style and her smile. She was soooo cool. She was smart and full of spirit. I remember her when I walk through the halls of Burges when I get a call to work there. She was cool to party with. I will pray for her son. She may be physically gone, but she has left her immortality, as all who have children, with her son. She was a great person. She was a wonderful friend. She was Dawn.

Wow. I get chills just looking at her picture. I always remember Dawn as a beautiful, friendly person who never had a bad thing to say about anybody. She never needed makeup. She was a natural beauty. My heart goes out to her family, especially her son. It's hard to believe that such a bright light was snuffed out so young. I still remember hanging out with her and David Scott. It's amazing how time has flown.

Joe is right. We had some good times back in the day. I remember Dawn always smiling and full of energy. God Bless Her and her family.

I was so so sad when I saw this. One of my favorite childhood pictures was of Dawn and me at my second grade birthday party... Even as a small child it was evident that Dawn was a free spirit and truly had a gentle, loving soul. Lots of love and prayers to her family.

I didn't know Dawn very well in high school but we grew up together with the rest of the Mac Arthur crowd. She was, indeed, a free spirit. I remember her getting in trouble in the third grade because of her facination with the band KISS (takes a gutsy 8 year old kid to stick to your guns and like what you are going to like, despite what the teachers or anybody else thought). She was always the life of our little girl birthday parties. Her son will have a very strong and lovely guardian angel all his life. The world is not as bright a place with out Dawn in it.

Dawn had a heart of gold. I remember her as such a sweet, sweet person. She looks so happy in that picture.

Its been a while since I found Dawn on Myspace, I remember her telling me she was pregnant and how happy and excited she was, we talked a while and then once again we lost contact, and then I read this. My heart sank. But again I am reminded of how fragile life is.
