Still married to my middle school sweetheart, a story I love to tell over and over. Don't know what I would have done without him. Plus, he gave me the most beautiful treasures, my three children, the ones who have made me believe that being a mother is about the best thing I know how to do. Still waiting for grandchildren, though! Just don't tell my two oldest I wrote this.

I still remember when Bonnie Pinon let me drive her mom's car during lunch one day, and we got stopped on Alameda by one of our own coaches; I must have been going 65 or 70 on a 45 mph street. I wonder if her mom knows????
