I attended UTEP (TWC) for my BA. Then received my MA from California State University at Long Beach and my Ed.D from University of New Mexico.
I was a teacher and secondary school principal in Cerritos, California and in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was a superintendent of schools and the Assistant Secretary of Education for New Mexico. I am currently retired but serve on the board of education in Albuquerque.
