I remember John and got to know him pretty well in Baker's electronics class.  He is missed, respected and loved!!!

John was a good friend, and ALWAYS ready with a smile.  He was so proud of his '61 (I think) gold Chevy; I'm pretty sure he washed it every day. When the morning paper had the news of his death, it shocked me to my core.  The war wasn't just "over there."  I've visited his name on the Vietnam War Memorial wall a number of times; it brings a lump to my throat without fail.  So young.  RIP, John.
