ROY ELBERT KOHN III, 51, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2001. Mr. Kohn was a resident of El Paso for the past 43 years. Roy attended Arizona State University and Gonzaga Law. As an attorney he practiced law from 1977 to 2001. He co-founded the Child Crisis Center and was also founder of the El Paso Exchange Club and of the Center of Prevention of Child Abuse. He was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Elbert Kohn Jr. in 1995. His survivors include his mother, Burnadine Kohn, son, Roy E. Kohn IV and daughter, Christine M. Kohn. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-N.E. located at 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 5, 2001 Highland Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the El Paso Kidney Center located at 3100 N. Stanton St. El Paso, Texas 79902 or the American Heart Association, 223 E. Mesa Hills or the Highland Presbyterian Church. Entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast
