After graduationg from Loretto I attended Univ. of Texas, El Paso for a while. However, because it did not offer a degree program in Interior Design, I looked for a school that would. Interior Design had been in my mind for a long time. I decided on Texas Tech and received my Bachelor's and Master's degree there.
Today, I have been in Las Vegas working as a facility planner at the local electric utility.
Never in a million years did I ever dream or think that I would be in Las Vegas. But here 24 years later, it is my second home. I am still a TEXAN; that will never change.
As a facility planner, I design new spaces for the company and coordinate the construction of those those spaces. That includes everything from drawing the space, sometimes picking new finishes( colors, materials, etc.).
Las Vegas in the minds of many is an exciting place to live; and it is. Many times I do not even experience that excitement. I just live a regular life.
