After EHS, I spent 2 years at SIC, then transferred to the University of Illinois where I got my BS in biology/pre-med in 2003. I then married the love of my life, Betsy (Morris) in June 2003 and entered medical school at SIU in Springfield, IL that same summer. I graduated with my MD in May 2007. I am now in the last year of my family medicine residency at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN where I will graduate in June 2010. I am likely heading back to southern Illinois to set up practice upon completion of residency. We had our first child, Hallie Kate, in June 2006 and our second child, Nolan, in December 2008. Betsy stays home with our 2 children and is an absolutely wonderful mother and wife.
