Susan Smith Smith

-1966 Graduated WVU, BS in Recreation
-Worked in Municipal Recreation 7 years
-Taught at WVU 2 years
-Attended Glenville College 2 years to attain elementary teacher certification
-Taught 30 years: 1/2 yr at Palestine, 29 1/2 at Elizabeth Elem/Wirt Primary
-subbed 10 years as a substitute for all grades
-I've been fortunate enough to travel to several foreign countries as well as our own beautiful USA and West Virginia.
-Now reside in my mother's home across from the high school. I enjoy quilting and sewing, teaching adult education, and working with my dogs. Life is good!

I remember the little skits that Mrs. Cottle would let us perform on Fridays in English class. The first one was something that one of us uncovered, though I don't know where. We thought it was so funny--probably very corny! From that point on, some of us were ready to do more. Barb Lockhart and I would have a sleepover on Thursday and write a skit we thought was funny.
