I've always enjoyed working so besides working for my parents real estate firm Blue Chip Realty, I also owned a remodeling company and a residential/commercial cleaning company. My primary passion has always been horses so my father found me 5 acres and I started a horse ranch. While my boys were in 4-H I trained and showed Appaloosa horses and ponies while giving riding lessons. Then when I decided I wanted a more sporty horse I bred my Appaloosa mare to an ex-Thoroughbred race horse only to end of buying him and getting into Thoroughbred racing. The family raced in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. While racing, I also trained and bred racehorses because I wanted to be as versatile as possible in the industry. I was in the equine industry for almost 25 years and in real estate for almost 25 years. After my sons were grown I went to upstate New York along the Erie Cananl and opened two bakeries (baking another passion of mine); the first in 2004 and the second in 2005. Due to medical conditions I had to close them in November 2006. Once I got my health back I opened a third passion of mine a full service restaurant and gift shop in 2009 but due to the economy I recently closed it. Well guys that pretty much brings you up to date at least as much as I want to share with you at this time.
