I went to Grace University right out of High School, and experienced the world. I became a little too social, so I stopped college after 2 years. I then started working in the family business for several years. I got married during this time, had 3 children, and then we shut down the business.
After that, I tried my hand at insurance sales, only to realize it wasn't for me. I decided to try my hand at managing a restaurant. It was fun, but too many hours. After 2 years of that, I found myself supervising on a tree farm. That was a great job, with fun people. Very demanding. My wife also had the last of our 4 children.
September of 2007, I realized that I needed to join the US Army. So, I signed-up, and am now part of a Medical Support unit in Omaha for the Army Reserve.
With that change, I was allowed a second try at higher learning, so I am currently enrolled at Metro CC working on my pre-requisites for Nursing school in the Fall of 2009, or Spring 2010.
I currently work as a Patient Care Tech on the Oncology floor of The Nebraska Med. Center, and I love it!!
