WSU 1984 Hotel & Rest admin (BA)

I don't get back to Eburg anymore as my dad passed in 2016 & my mom resides in Seattle in a home with dementia patients. My brother (Dan) lives in LaConner and my sister (Marcia) lives in Seattle. I usually make a trek to Washington State once a year; typically in the summer to spend time with my siblings in the San Juan Islands.

I moved to Minneapolis in 1984 and have spent the majority of the time in healthcare. Currently, I am the President of United Hospital Foundation; part of Allina Health. I enjoy my work and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting and creative people along the way.

As many of you remember, I dated Joanie Hoctor ('81) the last couple of years in high school and the first two years @ CWU. My sympathy goes out to her family in the tragic loss of Joanie. May she rest in peace.

After EHS; I spent two years @ CWU & finished my degree @ WSU. My first career move was with Marriott Hotels in Dallas, TX and then was transferred to Minneapolis, MN where I currently work and stayed with Marriott for six years and then migrated into healthcare where I've stayed. I travel to Chicago, IL on the weekends where my 2nd home is located.
