I've been happily married to Eric Lunstrum for 29 years this April! I am a grandma and just can't believe the wonder of it all! Eric is a partner in a new venture...it's a hand crafted distillery in Cashmere WA. They are making brandy so far, which should be available to buy in March 2010. We have a tasting room in the distillery and hopefully will have the brandy on the liquor store shelves this year. It's been an adventure for sure!
My parents are doing well, still living in the same house I grew up in in Ellensburg. Mom is still an active dancer and teaches Polynesian dancing as well as ballroom, and country dancing.
I work part time for a video relay interpreting service in Federal Way, and part time interpreting at Wenatchee Valley College. I love my life, my family and living in East Wenatchee!
Almost two years ago I found out I had a softball size tumor inside my liver and had 60% of my liver removed. It was a very serious surgery, but my liver has grown back now. Thank goodness...just in time to taste my husband's brandy!
Well, I'm old and fat with gray hair, but couldn't be happier. Hope to make it to the reunion in August, don't know for sure tho
2/19/2014 update: Just looking at my post and realized a lot has changed in the past four years. Eric and I moved back to Ellensburg to help out with our aging parents a year and 1/2 ago. Erics mother died last year, so we were happy we were here to help her out in her last months.
So I am back where I started, living in an apartment built on to my parents house. We still have our house in East Wenatchee and are renting it out. Hoping to retire there some day. Eric is commuting to Wenatchee where he is managing an insulation company. He isn't involved in the distillery anymore. I am still commuting to Federal Way to work as a video relay interpreter and also am interpreting at CWU if there is a need.
Still happily married, 33 years now, still old, fat and gray. My dad is getting frail, so we are watching his health closely. It's so hard to see our parents grow old isn't it?
I now have two grand sons Adex is 4 years old and Ronan just turned 3.
I am an active Jehovah's Witness, so might be at your door some day, smile. Take care all!
