Justin Andrew Savage
 
Justin Andrew Savage, 27, left us on January 29, 2015, in San Clemente, California. He was born on August 21, 1987, in Longview, Washington to John and Amanda Savage.Justin was raised in Bethel, Alaska, before moving to Ellensburg in 1994. He went on to graduate from Ellensburg High School in 2006 and also attended Pierce College in Puyallup.Justin had many hobbies throughout the years to include skiing and snowboarding, 4-H, Tae Kwon Do, soccer, track and field, basketball and showing horses. Justin had a smile that would light up a room the moment he walked in. Justin's life touched all who were lucky enough to be in it. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.He is survived by his mother, Amanda Savage; stepmother, Susan Savage; brothers, Tyler Savage, Trevor Savage, Riley Savage, Thomas Savage, and Andrew Savage; stepbrother, Alexander Shantz; sisters, Ruby Shantz , Alison Savage, and Kelby Savage; and stepsister, Aileen Shantz.He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John A Savage, DMD, FAGD; grandfathers, Bob Savage and Col. (USAF Ret.) John Wolpers Jr; and grandmothers, Charlotte Savage and Ruth Wolpers.
 
 

Cody Lynn Gress, 16, died Nov. 11, 2004.

She was born June 11, 1988, in Scottsdale, Ariz., the second child of Scott and Sandra Gress.She grew up and attended high school in Ellensburg. She had a love of life and her award-winning smile will stay in the family's hearts forever. Cody's love of golf, shared by her father Scott, made Cody a successful part of the Ellensburg High School golf team. Cody's love of cattle and horses drove her to pursue a career in the cattle industry, running cattle with her dad. Cody and Scott spent many windy summer days stringing electric fence and moving cattle across the hills. She became a master of riding her horse, Tandy, bareback and had plans to conquer many styles of horseback riding. She was always accompanied by her puppy, Wylie, and her new horse, Willie.Cody also turned barrels, swapped flags and tied goats at the Ellensburg Junior Rodeo every August. In 2004, Cody placed in every event and won the flag race. Cody and her new pony, Brownie, will forever be chasing cattle and turning barrels in heaven, working for her Lord's brand. Cody's 1989 Lincoln Town Car can be remembered by the blaring music pouring from its car's speakers as Cody appreciated many types of music, especially WAylon Jennings and AC/DC. Cody had plans to run for Ellensburg Rodeo queen and will forever reign in her family's hearts. Cody was preceded in death by her grandpa, Curt Stevenson. She is survived by her parents, Scott and Sandy Gress of Ellensburg; sister, Hailey of Ellensburg; grandparents, Melvin and Joyce Gress of Bismark and Eileen and Pat Ward of Las Vegas; and numerous unlces, aunts and cousins.

 

Eddie Clark Miles

Edward Evan Miles, 17, of Puget Island/Cathlamet, died Oct. 26, 2005.

He was born Feb. 1, 1988, in Kirkland, Wash., to Edward Stanley Miles and Melissa Rey (Clark) Burns. His family moved to Cathlamet from Ellensburg in 2001.

Edward was a student at Wahkiakum High School.

He is survived by four brothers, Evan Currie, Hayden Miles, Garrett Miles and Ben Miles; two sisters, Lillian Miles and Courtney Williams; his mother and stepfather, Melissa and Keith Burns; his father; his grandparents, Phyllis Snodgrass and Betty Uptown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
