Brian Caughel

I was shocked and very saddened to learn of Wayne’s illness and death.  There are certain people who stand as “positive fixtures” in my memory, and Wayne is one of them. I liked Wayne from the time we met in middle school and talked about our common interests in hunting and trapping. He impressed me as a really solid, good guy.  I remember that we always exchanged “Heys” or respectful nods whenever we passed each other in the hallways over the years.  Though we weren’t close friends, I think we could have been.  I regret that I let slip by the opportunity to know him better, and as the great man I’m sure he was.
