School Story:
Our choir teacher took us on a field trip to perfrom at a couple of high schools. When we pulled up to the school the students were rioting and were in the act of trying to overtrun a school bus. Needless to say we did not stay but ended up going to the choir teacher's camp or home in PA and having a party of our own.
I went to my brothers recognition ceremony of some kind at Southside. I was in 9th grade at the time. They had the graduates standing on risers on the stage. During the ceremony one of the risers collapsed. No one was hurt - but it was funny.
