Ken:  Judy & I both have very fond memories of Mike.  He was such a warm, peaceful & friendly classmate at EMHS.  He was on the Math Team with Ken, but neither of us were up to Ken Lerman's skill level, so we usually weren't in the actual competitions. We were so happy that he attended the 50th reunion last September.

Judy:  I was so happy to see Mike at the last reunion as I was looking for him at  all the previous ones and I believe he never attended.  Mike was my confidant and I used to talk to him about all my problems.  He used to tease Mary Lou and I about the Funnies and the Sillies who were always in competition with each other. (You know who you are).  We spent some nights walking home with the snow falling after the choir performances, singing Christmas carols with Mary Lou, Jay, Alan Lowe and others.   I have a wonderful picture taken at the Town and Country after the senior prom of Ken and I, Mary Lou and her date, Ron Scheff and Sue Galena, Mike and his date Marcia Singer.   When I look at that picture and see how young and innocent we all were, it takes me back to those wonderful days.  I cannot believe Mike is gone after seeing him last year but I'm so thankful that we had a chance to reconnect if only for a little while. He will remain in all our hearts.

Mike and I became good friends when we learned we were both ham radio operators. I would go to his house after school and sometimes on the weekends, to go "on the air" and see who we can contact. We had so much fun talking to people from all over, and usually in Morse code!

Mike was quite a bright guy and had a calm and easy going personality. I will miss my ham radio buddy. 73's Mike (Ham radio language for goodbye.)
