From Ken Nebel to Carolyn's family.....
Judy & I are so sad to hear of Carolyn's passing. We both were classmates at Elmont Memorial HS & Ken lived on Holland Avenue directly behind the Weingartens & diagonally behind Carolyn, so we were "over the fence" buddies as kids. We visited with Carolyn at our 40th reunion at the Casino in Garden City in 2002.
Joe may recall that Ken & his Mom came for lunch in Lindenhurst in July 2001. Judy & I also had the fortunate opportunity to speak with Carolyn recently by phone. We always enjoyed her Conservative e-mails, as we're both staunch republicans.
We'll let our classmates know & I'm sure there will be some memorial postings on our class web site. I'll send Joe a copy of any postings.
Please accept our deepest condolences and know that Carolyn is in our prayers.
