Rebekah Fergus Moir

Just gonna shorten this up. Memories below are more important :)

'92, St. Olaf College, MN, Bio degree. '93 U of M elementary teaching program. '93, married Dan Moir, Held various jobs in Grinnell, IA for next 3 years. '96, Moved back to Minneapolis area and worked in office admin from '96 to '02. Kids in '99 and '01. '02-'07 worked in volunteer management and fund-raising/event management for small non-profit social service agency.

Quit my job in April 2007 to stay home with my now 6- and 8-year old kids and start taking care of my terminal passion for the written word.

Just a few that pop to mind:

1) Mrs. Fiore yelling "I AM ANNOYED!" at our class followed immediately by Scott Andrews ducking under his desk saying, "Avoid the Noid."

2) Mr. Burton dubbing Lamonte Tucker "Scroungy Sucker" and Elisa Bermant yelling "SCROUNGY SUCKER!!!!!!" every time she saw Lamonte (I may have joined her...)

3) The Kopecki Rap -- "Back by popular demand.... WITH the markers on his hands..." Anyone heard from Marc C. Turner or Travis Hagemeier?

4) AP Bio betting Booth lunch that he couldn't quit smoking, losing the bet and then me smelling smoke on him about a month later and the whole class giving him endless crap. (Did he ever buy US lunch?)

5) Nick Zambrano, Kevin Frankel and possibly others (Joey? Terrence? Jeff?) ending every sentence with "per se."

6) Ranu Muttreja (bored senior) pouring water into boiling wax during (mostly freshmen) Earth Science lab and creating an explosion that made the lab stink of wax for DAYS.
