Marc Turner

Attended Winston-Salem State University on a basketball scholarship to play for the legendary Bighouse Gaines

Graduated in 1992 and worked in Winston-Salem, NC with Sara Lee Branded Apparel through 2003

Married in April 2000 (Ellis aka Kojak) and Ural were two of my six groomsmen and Murdock attended as a distinquished guest

Earned Masters in Business Administration (2007) taking evening classes at High Point University while working full-time in Human Resources at Volvo Trucks North America


March 2008 - Relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas to be reunited with my wife (works at Wal-Mart in Marketing - Category Apparel) and 3 year old son

This might sound corny but transitioning to AHHS in the 11th grade from Ossining was not something that I was looking forward to doing. I can remember the first couple of months were not so pleasant. However, Ellis took me under his wing and Marco clowned with me during some of our classes. In addition, Doc gave me free rides from Ossining to the Ford and back. The turning point was when Oil Can's middle son (Ural) accepted me as a teammate and friend. By the end of my junior school year, it was almost as if I had always been at AHHS. Thank you for being great classmates.
