After graduation I went with Jill Manning and Chris )Pris) Rader to Denver. I worked in the Display Dept of the Denver Dry Goods- downtown!!! I started skiing in Feb of that winter '69. I drove every weekend day to Arapahoe Ski

Area- that May I decided I was going to walk to ski, so I moved to Vail for several months ( Sept- Feb) then out to Seattle, then Crested Butte to be with Janie Dunn. In '70 I joined Janie in Austria. I went home in May of '71, and decided I did not want to live in IL or St. Louis, so I went to Aspen where Crissy Daly was. We had a hoot of a time. I had all the "normal" ski bum jobs, finally ending up working at a window wall and floor store, graduating to a furniture store. After a number of boyfriends, I got married and divorced a couple of times. I then ended up in IL, at the farm with Mom. She wasn't doing so well- then she passed. So I went back to Aspen. I started selling a line of clothing called Doncaster. I did Trunk Shows in Bloomington, IL, Aspen and Denver- crisscrossing from Aspen to the midwest 4 times a year for 25 years--whew!!! Fun and lots of work. At 70 I decided that I shouldn't be on the road anymore, so I sold my place in IL and changed clothing companies ( Etcetera). Now I do only 4 shows a year here in Apen and work part time for the Chamber of Commerce spewing out info on Aspen at the airport and in town. I love it-- meeting the people and sharing my love of Aspen and surrounds.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!!! I've had a great life here in Aspen- still love it.

I remember the fun I had throwing water down on the couples necking (from the Howard House balcony). Also the fun Patti Cappia sp?? and I had playing tricks on each other in the dorm- must have laughed myself silly!!!!!
