89 to 91 attended LCCC, in 91 transferred to Kent State with Damron and cousin Mike Fitzpatrick, in 92 married my sweetheart Jeni Bowles and we wrapped up school at Kent through 94, 94 to 2000 I taught at ODCS (English, Bible, Speech, Journalism) and we started our family of 3 kids, 2000 to 2006 I joined the staff of the church as worship pastor. 2006 to present we've lived in AZ helping Rob & Kathryn Wagner with a new work here in the valley of the sun - a little church called Scottsdale Baptist where I'm doing the music and overseeing the youth program.

Who could forget the good old days when corporal punishment was socially acceptable? I still have the scars (physical and emotional) to prove it! Really, one of my worst memories was 2 punishing blows inflicted by Bob Hayes when I was in second grade - the offense? Being in the hall after school hours (never mind that I was with my father). Some of you know what I'm talking about when I say that his swats definitely left a mark - mine were bruises that didn't go away for a few weeks ...
Last year I went to Michigan for a church conference and actually got to hook up with good old Bob Hayes who's still working in education as an administrator near Detroit. Would you believe that when I relayed the horror story of this experience he didn't remember a blasted thing?? Well, we made our peace and had a good laugh over it but it goes to show you how large things looked in our minds and so different in the adult perspective - the good old days, right? (-:
