Passed away in his home on 03-11-10. Pete is survived by his beloved wife Leanna, daughter Mandie, stepson Blake and granddaughter Emma of Centennial, his father George Wayne and brother Chris of Lake City, FL, brother Jeff of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his mother Frances Louise. Pete owned and operated Axis Commercial Realty in Denver, graduated 1968 EHS, played football at BYU, graduated from CU. A celebration of his life will be held at Drinkwine Mortuary on Friday March 19th at 4pm. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to Pete W. Cox Foundation established for youth sports at www.uwbank.com

Ever wonder why I did not like my name, and picked Lurch as my name to go by.  Well in the third grade I was teased badly about having a girls name.  Just because of Dale Evans.  So in the forth grade again in a new school I whet by my middle name. 

Then along came the Adams Family and a my 85 year old neigbor lady Started calling me Lurch because I answered the phone YOU RANG. 

So now the storie is known.  I do not I think I look more like the tall guy in the back row then I do the lady on the left of the horse.  LMAO
