Rhonda Davis DeBruhl

After a way too early marriage (March before we graduated), I got divorced in 1981. Had a really good time, and decided to grow up and settle down in 1988. Had my first daughter when I was 31, my second at 35, and loving every moment of being their Mother. Living life, going through the ups and downs of life, and realizing that with every trial that comes along REALLY does make you wiser and stronger, if you let it!

Not much to tell. I was a somewhat quiet and shy person. I started Vance Elem. 1st grade thru 5th grade, then moved to Venable starting 6th grade. That was the first time (6th grade, Mr Ramsey) that I got my first bustin' in school! Gleen Lookabill was making me laugh, and Mr Ramsey got mad at ME and smacked my hand with one of those wooden rulers with my palm up and boy did it hurt!!! When I got to Enka, I felt like a duck in a GREAT BIG POND. Summer between my freshman and sophmore years I met my 1st husband, and we married my senior year. If only I knew then what I know now. I feel like the best years of my youth were wasted!! Oh well. I did enjoy some good friends and am so glad that I am now able to get in touch with people that I haven't seen in years.
