After working at The Biltmore Estate for almost 7 years, I made a huge move in January. I moved to Dallas Texas! I knew that I couldn't bear being a long distance Mimi. I applied for a position with a great company and began a brand new chapter here in Texas in 2012. I sold my home in Asheville and bought one in Garland, TX in February 2015. God Bless Texas!

I loved being a cheerleader in 10th grade. Riding the bus one day with the jv football team, Coach Sevier dared me to try a "chaw" of tobacco and I did. It was nasty and I felt sick througout the entire game. Should have tried it on the way home instead of at the beginning of the game. I also loved Spirit Week when we dressed up.
I realized in later years that high school was just a passing phase in life. Now is what matters. God is my source and strength and I should have been more of a witness for Him in school.
