Comments:

I graduated from NC State University with a B.S. degree in Natural Resource Management.

I have worked 26 years for various branches of the Federal Government. I have been a recreation assistant, park ranger, federal investigator, security analyst, city letter carrier and claims representative. I have lived in Laurel Springs NC, Raleigh NC, Franklin NC, Knoxville Tn, Boulder Co, Denver Co metro area and Johnson City Tn.

I keep Honeybees on the side and am past president of the Buncombe County Beekeepers Chapter. I breed survivor stock queens and produce natural honey without using chemical treatments for mites.

Can you believe that I love to write? I was a very poor English student, but have found writing is theraputic for me. I love www.helium.com where I can write as much as I want, get evaluated by peers and get paid too. I write about lots of things including a lot about bees. Sometimes I travel around speaking to clubs about natural beekeeping.

I enjoy building children's playhouses on the side as well.

I previously was a founding member and an elder in a Vineyard church. During the mid to late 1990's I was a leader of a Promise Keeper fellowship in downtown Asheville. One of my great life experiences was to serve as a small group facilitator at training sessions and conferences for the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove.

I played the part of "Sam" a local cop that frequents "Dead End Diner" in a dinner theatre murder mystery at the Proud Annie dinner theatre in Jonesboro Tn. www.proudannie.com

In January 2015 Miriam and I both had a part in River Song (The Tom Sawyer Story) at Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Greeneville TN. The cool thing is we had a real Hollywood actor in the performance with us.

School Story:

I loved to break in to the gym in the mornings with a few other hard core basketball players. One morning Mr Davies came in with his paddle and gave us some lift upon our exit. I recall that not being so funny at the time.
