I went to study music at Winthorp College in Rock Hill, South Carolina but transfered to USC in Columbia and graduated from there with a music degree in 1994. I then moved to Cincinnati, OH to attend Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music when I graduated with my masters in 1996. I started my doctorate at the University of Colorado in Boulder, however, that was a short-lived idea that last 2/3s of that year... I left my assistantship and started my playing career. I played tuba in the Denver and Central Colorado area in such groups as the Colorado Ballet Orchestra and the Central City Opera Orchestra. I was a founding member of the Baseline Brass Quintet and we did performances through most of the four-corners. I made the move to Chicago to take my career to the next level... and FLOPPED!!!! LOL. BOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I needed a break... I worked in the corporate world for a while starting in customer service but eventually became a project manager and did pretty well earning a decent living. I stayed in Chicago until 2006 where I relocated back to Georgia and have settled in Atlanta. I went back to school to get my degree in music education and I'm now a band director. I'm a member of the Palmetto Concert Band out of Columbia, SC.; I'm a founding member of TubaMaestros (a tuba quartet); and am teaching on a contract basis at Shorter College.... AND I'M LOOKING FOR A JOB!!!! LOVE YOU!!
