I know Mike best from King Lab. Mike and I were part of a group of about 14 guys who played football every lunchtime. I remember that he always wanted to play quarterback. He didn't have great mobility, but he processed the field well and had a great arm. There were a lot of celebrations and good times. Mike was such a good person. He was always smiling and universally liked. In my lifetime, I've only heard kind words said about him.
I've only been to one reunion, but one of the highlights was running into Mike. It was like old times. We caught up on life and had a good laugh about it all.
My condolences to his family. The world has lost a really good person.
