Received my Associates Degree from Chattanooga State in Computer Science in 1992, Married husband, Fred Gates on June 25th of 1993, At that time I also became a step-mom to Daniele (age 3 - Now 22 heading to Med School @ Mercer) and Kayla (age 18 mo - Now 21 and a Jr. @ UGA)
Worked for 6 1/2 years in Oak Ridge
In 1995, Fred and I built our home in Evensville on 6 acres.
In 1998, gave birth to my daugher Morgan (6th Grade), then returned to the work force in September of 1998 at La-Z-Boy as the IT Manager. I have served on the Senior Management staff at La-Z-Boy for the last 3 years. In 2002, gave birth to my son, Elijah (Now 1st grade). Returned to college to complete my Bachelor of Science degree at Bryan College. Graduated in May 2006 with a BS in Business Management.
We are members of Wolf Creek Baptist Church where I teach 2-4 year old Sunday School. I have served our community charitable organizations in many different capacities over the last 10 years. Relay for Life (Chairman, co-chair), United Way (Allocations committee), and March of Dimes (liasion for the La-Z-Boy Teams).
My husband and I have been very active in our son's baseball teams for the last 3 years. I am also active in helping with Girl Scouts for our daughter's troop.
We love riding motorcycles (Yes, I ride my own!), camping, and any outdoor activities.
