Martha deLaBruere

November 7, 1957 - September 13, 2017

Martha Sue deLaBruere, age 59, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from a brain tumor. She was born November 7, 1957 in Exeter, New Hampshire to Louis Hector and Anne Fox deLaBruere. She was married to Chas McDaniel of Hampton, New Hampshire for 20 years and they have a son, Charles. In 1997, she and Charles moved west from New Hampshire to Minnesota and Iowa.
 

Martha Sue graduated Exeter High School in 1975. She received Paralegal certification from the University of New Hampshire and enjoyed a successful career with positions at Rockingham County Register of Deeds, Casassa & Ryan, and most recently retired from the Minnesota Public Defender's Office in Rochester, Minnesota.

She is survived by her son, Charles McDaniel of Waseca, Minnesota and two grandchildren, Cash Parker McDaniel of Spring Valley, Minnesota and Veda Jo McDaniel of Waseca, Minnesota; one brother Louis J. deLaBruere of Juneau, Alaska; four sisters, Andrea (John) Richards and Cathy (Jim) McDougall of New Hampshire and Marcia (Ron) Naber and Michele (Ivie) Popplewell of Minnesota; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike (Norma) Geanoulis of New Castle, New Hampshire and Don (Patty) Hoyt of Ocala, Florida are also part of her extended family. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sarah, one sister, Mary Lou Hoyt, her parents and her partner, Lowell Bigalk of Lime Springs, Iowa.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Martha Sue's Life was held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Exeter home of Andrea and John Richards from 1-3 p.m.
