Carl Jess "Jessie" Massaro

NORTH FT. MYERS, Fla. -- Carl Jess "Jessie" Massaro, 49, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at his home in North Ft. Myers, Fla.

He was born May 30, 1957, in Portsmouth, the son of Joyce P. (Sevigny) Massaro and the late Laurence E. Massaro of Stratham.

He attended Stratham schools and Exeter High School.

He lived most of his life in Stratham until moving to Florida in 1997.

He had a great love of the outdoors, animals, sports and camping. He was an avid fisherman and loved working with wood and his hands.

He worked as a carpenter and construction worker.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce P. Massaro of Stratham; a brother, Laurence E. Massaro Jr. and his wife, Wendy Rede, of Naples, Fla.; two aunts, Brenda Walicki of California and Marge Sevigny of Michigan; one uncle, Richard James of Eliot, Maine; and several cousins.
