Jack Koppelman

Im happy to be in touch with you - a lifetime has passed so quickly. I graduated Rutgers in 1963 and law school in 1966, married Joan in 1971 and practiced law in Washington DC and Colorado until 2004. Life since has taken us to Mexico where we lived for 6 years and rejoined our daughter 4 years later in Orlando, and now living in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Enjoying long early morning walks/runs on the beach - running from the law and toward a healthy long life - and a simple life of books, music, and interacting with two grown children who fill my life with joy.

Sadly lost my wife Joan to cancer in 2013 after 42 years of marriage. Happily met Carol Swoboda’s daughter walking the beach one recent early morning.

Perhaps my best moments were sharing time with Steve Billow, Bob Bogdanow and Kevin Mendelson (Bunin). Particularly true with Steve in driver's education where we took turns driving and clowning. Steve was the clown and the time spent in the car was a circus.

2021 A few years have passed since my last post and little has changed in my life which is a good thing. Best wishes to each of you,
