Janice lived just around the corner from me in Wright View. She had those beautiful blue eyes and that contrasting black hair. I remember how I envied her in music class when she sang, "Scarlet Ribbons" in front of the whole music class.
Janice was a kind soul and friend to everyone that knew her. It is hard to believe that soon she will have died 40 years ago. We were children. And we thought we were so wise!
I didn't have many friends in high school, and Janice was one of them.
