See I said a Flyerette had to be talented, cute and smart. A Nurse Anesthetist- smart, cute and NERVES OF STEEL! I actually taught a child psychology class for Miami Valley Nursing School since they were wanting RNs to have credit if they decided to get a BSN. NURSING played a large role in my family. My grandmother was a midwife. She was my mother’s midwife. Plus a relative of ours played a huge role in NURSING Education at UVA. We endowed 12 scholarships a year and I think they named a toilet after her. lol. Now you tell me what nurse had the time for the loo!!! I’m so proud of you. Now if we just had more STEM support for young ladies today.

KEITH I AM IN THE DELTA ONE room at JFK in NYC. I am getting ready to go to the Middle East. I am to go to Turkey Israel Jordan Egypt and UAE. LEBANON was supposed to be on my list but I was told I might need to be in an armored car. Oh well. They are starting to board but when I saw your name and birthday I wanted to Wish you well. My Chinese grandson is at Virginia Tech for a degree in cyber security. I am very proud of him. He did very well in High School until COVID. Luckily we got him in William and Mary for two years so that he could transfer to Tech. With three sons you must have a large Anderson family. Lucky you! I know you and Linda are divorced but do tell her hello. I will never forget we would sneak her on the Band Bus to go to away games. OH to be young. Thanks for being a wonderful friend in HS.

Beth I check this out once a year but when I discovered Brenda Crank had died I cried. She had such a joyful caring heart. Anytime I see a Tuba I think of her. I still have the gift she gave me. It is a prison lock key and I use it for a key ring. It’s pretty big. I live now in NYC and Miami Beach. I am glad Brenda had a friend like you. I hope all is well.

I think I am a little confused. I thought your wife’s name was Linda but it doesn’t matter. What matters is you lost your wife. I too lost mine several years ago. It’s a tough life after losing our beloved spouses. I see you are in Yellow Springs. How lucky you are to be in such a beautiful area. I live in NYC, RichmondVA, Miami Beach. My job in publishing required a lot of traveling from all over the world but wherever I am I feel very lucky that we all had a great childhoods in Fairborn at 69 and 70.Truman. I still am very close to Paula Bockstedt and her family which keeps me aware of life still in Fairborn. Keith, we were too damn young to lose our spouses. Today FHS sent a message about Gene Brennan passing. It made me reflect on our band days. Egads, where does the time go. Take care.
