We've been lucky, having some nice rains and avoiding the hail...Not to far south and west of us, they have been getting hammered... I guess over by Scottsbluff they had enough hail to make small drifts, got the snow plows out to clear the roads... Terry, Six foot maters??? I hope we get something off of ours...With the cool weather they were talking that the growing season would be 3 weeks shorter...Maybe we'll have some by August... Abby is still looking for living quarters in Omaha, what a shocker... What ever happened to the affordable housing??? Cindy, Cindy, Michale, and Matt, catch you all later...Happy hump day!!!!

It is so thick,I think you could cut it with a knife...we still have water standing in the fields from the last rain...which only adds to the humidity! I made a trip to the city and did a little shopping today! Shopping in KC...one of my favorite things!

WHEW...Was it ever hot and humid here today....At 6pm it was 90 out and the floor of our garage had moisture coming up through the cement...Never have seen that before...HUH...Anyway we had a storm go through about 1pm today with just a bit of pea sized hail and about .15 of rain here in town....Daykin didn't get anything and Narka didn't get anything....AWWWWW....The clouds were really a moving and a tornado touched down at Odell....I hate these kind of storms that produce hail and tornados...Drives me crazier.... Sounds like storms north of us tonight.... Just thought I had best update you a bit.... Hope you all had a great day.....

Nippler...WHAT????? The maters are not growing and you have lost some....WTH....Did you buy cherry tomato plants by mistake??? The sun is shinnning, a light breeze and in the seventies already this morning. My morning is slow so far, but that can change in a moments notice. Nippler WHT cherry tomatoes. That's ok I like them in salads. Matt thanks for the fyi-August guess we will have to count on you for the maters this year. Hey Jim, good to hear from you. Glad your missing the bad stuff too. I heard a train derailed last night cuz of the storms. Cindy G glad your holding out in Fairbury, thought you might have got hit hard last night. I've been grillin something everynight, yummy. I think I best stay with complaining about the weather, don't think Jerry really wants me to start in on him...LOL Nippler...Have big plans for the weekend??? Baseball games??? Hopefully some more homeruns are in store....Priceless....Keep the maters covered from these storms...Wouldn't want you to have a total loss for the year...Wheat harvest started there yet????? 06/21/09 09:59 AM #5441     Cindy Georgi (Rosener) Good morning....It is a sunny day in F-Town, with .40 of rain last night...Okay, the faucet can shut off now anytime....We need to get the fields dried up now so the harvest can begin, hopefully this week sometime... Well,Roe came back to good ole Nebraska yesterday...So a few of us got together and had a lot of fun...We had some cussin and discussin going on definately....My stomach hurts today from laughing so hard...WHEW...The stories...OMG...There are some good ones out there...LOL...I had the best of times and hope we can do it again sometime....Thanks guys for sharing a wonderful evening together... So if there is anybody that is going to be in F-Town to visit...Let someone know ahead of time so we can try to get a few people together for some more laughs...It feels so good...:) So with good times in mind...I would like to take this time to wish all of you Dads a Happy Fathers Day!!!!! Us women are so grateful to have you in our childrens lives...We couldn't do it with out you....... Here are a few sayings dedicated to our Dads....... A child looks up at the stars and wonders... Great fathers put a child on his shoulders and helps them to grab the star... The greatest thing a father can do to his children, is to love their mother.... It is a nice morning today....I haven't really watched the weather and Jerry is already gone, so can't ask him, but if I were guessing I would say that it is going to be hot and humid today.... Things are starting to kick in with the wheat harvest...We are taking some trucks,combines down today...May even take a sample to see where we stand...Oh I best get to the store and buy some things for lunches...I need to get on my toes...WHEW...Lisa is coming home Tuesday night, so both kids will be here to help out...They both love this time of the year...One their favorite parts of the whole farming operation...It does get pretty exciting to harvest what they planted in the ground, but it also gets very wearing on a person...Towards the end the moods can change...LOL... Well I had a fantastic weekend...Roe and Annette, came back to F-Town from their far away states....A few of us got together and had some good conversation, good food and good drinks.....We laughed till our bellys hurt...It was a wonderful time...So, if any of you ever get back this way let someone know so we can try to get some people together....It is always good to catch up with one another and also talk old times....Thanks for a great weekend classmates!!!!! Nippler...Whats up????? Flying, baseball, maters,???????
