Happy New Year to you all!

It is snowing once again....I guess Dave and I didn't move far enough south! This white stuff really makes our job SO much more difficult. I have heard the guys on the radio several times this morning needing pulled out of here and there...or they can't make it up the hill or we need to bed the bulls...cows...the list goes on and on with the weather like this! UGH! Then to top it all off, out of our family of 8....6 of us had the flu on Sunday and Monday! Made for a skelton crew here!

We will be Denver bound next week! We are taking around 18 head of bulls...I hope this weather is getting all this snow out of its system now....as soon as I get home from Denver, I have to go to work in the cold! With the Denver trip and the cold January calving approaching, Dave and I made a trip to Cabela's yesterday, to get some much needed warmer equipment for the body.....I hope this is not admitting that we are getting older!

Cindy...I don't think it is possible to move Jerry with the land attached! I do wish you lived closer....it would be fun having you as my neighbor!

Jim Keilwitz...boy do I and Cindy Rosener wish you would keep this white stuff up your way! We have not seen this much snow down here since we moved here 29 years ago!

Again...Happy New Year to you!

To all my classmate friends, I would like to wish each and every one of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Each of you deserve the GREATEST year and because you're special, you'll get it.

Cindy, I was to send a special thanks out to you. I really enjoy reading your posts and appreciate all you do. One of these days we need to share a glass of milk. Maybe I'll talk Matt, John and whoever else wants to come, in to tripping to Fairbury to see you. I miss you!

Good Morning all....It is a beautiful sunshiny day here in F-Town...The temps today are to be in the 20's...We didn't get anymore snow, but talk of some coming maybe this weekend....I'm thinking it should just start turning to spring now...LOL

First things firtst....HOW ABOUT THEM HUSKERS????? WOW, What a performance they put on last night...That was a true Nebraska game...That is what it is all about....:0)

Sweet Pea...Just seems like yesterday you were going to Denver...WHEW...We all will be waiting for the results when you get back...Are you and Dave going to spend a few extra days to yourselves again this year??? ;0) Actually I had mentioned to Big Jer one time we should surprise you and show up at Denver....But it won't be this year cuz we have to many irons in the fire right now....Hopefully someday we can do that...It would be fun!!! At least for us....I'm glad you and Big Dave got some warm clothes...I really don't think it could be the age, just darn cold weather...LOL...I hope to catch up with you one of these days for a nice long visit....Take Care...Miss you..Love ya...HUGSSSSSS

Sargey...Go Big Red!!! Wasn't that the most fun game to watch last night...Loved the trick plays...LOL..Okay, mister, if you are on here reading what I'm writing, please talk to us...Everybody is giving up on the forum....NOT ME...I'm going to continue to write till you take it away from me...When the hell are you coming to F-Town???? I'm waiting on you to buy me some milk???? I think it is your turn to buy isn't it???? I would love all of you to come and visit....It gets kind of boring in this town with nothing to do....You could add to the town excitement....And I would be happy too!!!! Take Care Sargey....Miss you too....Hugsssss

To all of you that are going out and celebrating tonight, make it a safe one....Wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way...

Good New Years Eve Morning.....which also happens to be Ole Dave's B-Day! Having neighbors over tonight...cooking Beef Tenderloin, lettuce salad...home made french bread...fettuccine alfredo. Cheese cake instead of birthday cake.

Cindy....I hope you and Jerry will come and surprise us some year...oh that would be FUN!! Just remember....we are in the open...down in the yards! North of all the buildings....there are a lot of cattle there!

Wishing you all a good 2010!

I've been off this site for a very long time. Sorry class. Apparently I'm an asshole. I had forgotten that fact but was reminded last night. Oh well, I guess if the shoe fits.

I will try not to be gone for so long. I do try to check the facebook, but it really does not excite me either right now.

I hope everyone has a great year.

01/02/10 09:18 AM #6199

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all...Welcome to the year 2010....It is always good to start a New year off...Hopefully I will start it off in the right way...I did not make a resolution this year, as I usually break them anyways...So I think I will just try to be a better person, and be more upbeat in this busy world we live in...I just need to realize that I have to do what has to be done and quit whining about it...Whining gets me nowhere and uses up my energy for things that are to be accomplished...So I guess we will see how far this goes...LOL...

Our family is going to see some changes for the New Year, so it is going to be a new, fun, exciting, stressful, and very busy year for us on the farm...I will try to explain this at a later time....

We are having bitterly cold weather, with a chance of some more snow...It is suppose to be very cold all this week...The farmers almanac says we are to get another big snow storm the middle of January and then another one in February....Looking forward to it..(How am I doing on not whining so far?) I guess we will just takes whatever hits us...:0)

I was hoping to get Big Jer away for a short vacation this winter, but I don't think that is going to be happening...We have to many irons in the fire right now, so I think we will have to wait for another time...Some warm weather would really be nice though...:0)

John...Nice seeing you on here...We always enjoy when you put your 2 cents worth on here...I always remember when you would get on and chat with us when you were away...It was always so exciting to be able to talk with you...Have a great day my friend....Hugsss

Hope you all are enjoying the long weekend...It would be nice to hear of any New Years resolutions that any of you have made....Have a great rest of the weekend....

If God had wanted me otherwise, he would have created me otherwise...

Baby it's cold out side:) Chilly in here also

01/03/10 10:45 AM #6201

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning from Frigid Fairbury!!!! Man is it ever cold out...We recieved some more snow probably about and inch or two...I'm getting tired of calulating the snow fall...LOL..They are saying we are to have a bigger snowstorm coming about Wednesday....GEEEEEZZZZZ....Oh how I love winter...I guess I may as well love it cuz it is here and nothing I can do about it...So life goes on....:0)

What has everybody been up to???? I keep trying to pry in all of you lives and you are being so secretive....LOL...Share with us about YOU...We would love to hear everything about you...;0)

John...You are so right, baby it is cold outside...Think we better just all snuggle up and watch a movie, read a book, take a nap, have hot chocolate with marshmallows, whatever we can to be cozy and warm....Someday it will warm up, and we will be sweating our butts off...I really like that a lot better...Take care my friend...Hugsss

Well, I best get some laundry going...It is wierd, but having Tyler home DOES produce a lot more laundry...LOL...and dishes too...But I love having him home with me...My time of having a kid at home is coming to an end quickly...Maybe just a little over a year...He will probably be glad, but the empty nest will be a final thing...:0(

Wishing you all a wonderful day...If it is cold at your house stay in and get cozy....Take Care...

Evening!

Its stock Show time for the Judd Ranch Crew again!! Time to load up ...Nick, 18 head of cattle, and crew, are taking off tomorrow. And I think Dave and I too, trying to stay out of the storm that is suppose to come through on Wednesday. Our whole family looks forward to this each year....even though, it is a lot of work...In the name of promotion!

I just got a report, it was 45 degrees out there in Denver today! Looking forward to getting out of this Ice Box!! WOO HOO! Stay warm everyone!!

01/05/10 09:08 AM #6203

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning Classmates....It is still bitterly cold here...Temp right now is -12 with the high for today at high of 19...WOW...A heat wave...We are in a winter advisory for tonight and tomorrow...We are to get 24 inches of snow with blizzrd like conditions...YIKES...Where are they going to put this snow???? Oh how I love winter...:0)

Had a bonding day with my Dad yesterday...I had to take him to Lincoln for a Dr. appointment...There is nothing better than to have some one on one time with a parent...At my age I still look forward to those times...We had a great time together and we had brunch, and good conversation...Enjoyed the day with my Dad...

Last night, Big Jer, Tyler, and I went to the new sports bar to eat and check it out...It is really nice, and the food was very good...Nice to see another eating place in F-Town...

I have seen more football games in the last week than I have in a long time..Well I don't see them all, but they are always on the T.V. and I can hear them...Oh the joys of having 2 men in the house...I do enjoy them too, but I have many other things to do also...

Not much to report on here in F-Town...I think most people are in hibernation...LOL...Baby it is cold outside!!!!!

I hope you keep nice and toasty and have an amazing week....Take Care...

You were not born a winner, and you were not born a loser. You are what you make yourself to be....

01/06/10 09:19 AM #6204

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all...Once again I will report that it is SNOWING in F-Town AGAIN....UGH...All the area schools are closed and a lot of them were already closed as of last night...Not Fairbury, they will be open till the buses are able to get stuck...LOL...It sounds as though the Lincoln area is getting freezing drizzle as well...I can't believe it is only the 6th of January and we have been swamped with bad weather already...Makes me wonder what the rest of the winter is going to be like...

Not much going on here in F-Town...As nobody wants to get out any more then they have to in this frigid weather..The grocery stores and Wal-Mart will be packed today as many people will think they will never get out of their house till spring when it is all melted...Thats how it works here in F-Town...:0) Don't you all wish you lived here with me...

This is my last week of having Tyler home with me...He asked me last night if I was ready for him to go back yet??? I set him straight right then and there...I think he already knew the answer but, was just testing me a bit...I will have to go through a bit of empty nest when he leaves again...One day it will be final...Not looking forward to that day at all...:0(

Sweet Pea..Wishing you all at Judd Ranch Good Luck at Denver...I hope you have good roads to get you there...Let us know how things went when you get back...We will be waiting for the good news...Miss you....Love ya...HUGSSSS

Here is wishing all of you good weather....And if you can't have that, I guess I will wish for everybody to be safe and warm through these winter months....Take Care...

01/07/10 09:20 AM #6207

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning....We didn't much snow here in F-Town, but it is sure blowing snow that we did get and the piles of snow we already had...I don't know for sure what the temperature numbers are other than it is frigid out...They are warning people to stay in and it sounds like tomorrow it will be even colder yet...Next week we are suppose to get temps up in the 20's...That will seem like a heat wave let me tell you...We will probably have 40 MPH winds with that, but I guess we will take what we get...Not much we can do about it...

I'm getting kind of tired of talking about weather...That is all everybody talks about...How cold it is, the snow, upcoming storms....It is getting old fast...Don't remember when I last seen the sunshine....

I have absolutely nothing to report on in Fairbury...Unless you want to talk some more about the weather....

Sargey...FINALLY....I was glad to see your postings...Doesn't it make you feel a lot better about yourself...It should...Keep the postings coming we love hearing from everybody....Stay warm my friend.....Hugsss

KEILWITZ...Are you snowed in??? I hope you are enjoying the cold winter weather...You seem to like it a bit better than most do...Hope you are having a great time going to the kids activities...Cherish those mooments as they will be gone in no time...Then you will wonder what you are going to do....Have a great weekend....Hugsss

Roe....Where the hell are you my friend???? No one has talked to you forever...We are missing you.....

Take Care....Hugsssss

Nippler...Are you flying on these cold cold days??? You be careful up there in the skies....Would be nice to hear from you as well....Hugssss

Sweet Pea...I hope you are staying warm in Denver....Get the sweaters out for your animals...I could just see Dave walking into the area and seeing his pets in sweaters...LOL...I think Hot Pink would be the best choice of colors...Don't you???...Wishing you a great time and the best of luck to you and your family...GO JUDD RANCH!!!!!!! Missing you...Hugsssss

Bill...Hope you are enjoying your balmy weather...When are you coming to Frigid Fairbury??? Morning Everyone, I see Cindy G is still enjoying the weather, boy am I jealous, we had sunny skies and minus 8, hardly any snow on the ground... Hope everyone had a good New Years Eve, We spent ours in Rapid City, they have 2 motels hooked together with a pool, slides, a lazy river in-between, and a bar... Went with some other people who have younger kids, so it was a good time...

Trying to figure out what to do today, looks like the only thing possible is to start digging out tax papers... Might go out and look for a pheasant after Ty gets out of school and then start dinner...

Krystal, Good luck on the job future, hope its something you really like...

Take Care All and stay warm!!!

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning...Still cold in Fairbury, NE...Tell me what your weather is like...Ours always seems to be the same...The sun did shine yesterday, but today it is gloomy, foggy and cold so far...:0/

I have one more day with Tyler being home...I've been trying to make him some good home cooked meals before he heads back...I know he likes them, but actually he is such a laid back kid, he could really care less if I'm doing it...LOL..We had some Prime Rib last night, with potato casserole, salad, and homemade bread...Lunch today we are having turkey salad sandwiches, and I haven't gotten to the dinner meal yet, other than I know I am having banana salad (one of his favorites)...Oh, I know I'm spoiling him, but I love every minute of it...I think we are going to sit and even watch a movie with him today...Seems we haven't even taken the time to do that...Where did the time go??? He has been here almost a month and it seems like he just got here....Damn....So tomorrow will be a sad for me...It will take me a few days to get back to just me and Big Jer...Empty nest one more time....:0(

Wishing you all a great weekend....Hope you are finding warmth wherever you are...Take some time today to do something fun or special...Take Care

Hello Mates,
Hope all is well with everyone.
Cindy G/R, thanks for the constant weather updates from back Home. It beats getting on the weather channel because you are more accurate. Ever think about becoming a weather forecaster????.
Same ole Shit out here for weather..Mid 60's,sunny, light breeze. Some things never change. Gets to the upper 30's low 40's in the Mornings thats about the coldest.
Grandson getting big. 18.5lbs. 26 1/2 in. long. Yes we are spoiling the crap out of him.
Mom coming out next week for 7 days, then next month for 10 days. I'll have to clean up my act for those days I guess. Barb having Surgery next Month,Mom will be here for that.
How bout them Huskerssssssssssssss. Kicked some ass. Won a 1.75 of Crown Royal from my Big Boss on that game. He went to U of A, was giving me shit all the way up to game time. Guess who got the last laugh...

Hope everyones 2010 is a Great One.

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Monday Morning to you all...What a beautiful Monday it is...The sun is shining so bright, and it is to get up

to 30 today...Let the warm up begin...Does that mean spring is around the corner???? I can only wish....

Lisa called yesterday and said she went outside to get something out of her car...She didn't put a coat on cuz she was coming right back in...She said she couldn't believe how warm it was...Is that crazy when 30 degrees make it feel like a spring day....During the bowl game, Big Jer had heard that the Nebraska fans were in the swimming pools, while the Arizona fans were all bundled up at the motels....If they want to see cold they should of came here a few days ago...Some people probably have never really experienced what it is like to have a bitterly cold day...Some just think that they have...LOL

Yesterday, Tyler headed back to Lincoln to start up a new semester today...He thinks this is going to be a tough one and then after this it is smooth sailing...It is amazing how the last year is always easier...I would imagine he has had this all planned out...LOL...So he has 3 semesters left at UNL and then to do some classes through the appraisal school to get his license....Then he will be done and ready to work...I hope....

So it is really quiet here again at my nest...I think I will start up some deep cleaning in a few days...The dust bunnies are starting to take over the house...The cupboards all need cleaning, plus closets, storage rooms, etc....I best get my butt in gear before spring gets here...

Bill it was nice seeing you on here...Oh, that little guy of yours is really growing...So glad you are spoiling him...:0)...You best be on your best behavior when Fern gets there, she will straighten you out awful fast...LOL...Enjoy your time with her there...It will be fun for you....Take Care my friend....Hugsssss

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...Wishing you a fantastic week ahead....Take Care...

If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours...:0)

01/12/10 08:56 AM #6212

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all....Well I got woke up bright and early this morning...We recieved a phone call at 5:30 from the Light and Water Co...They called to tell us they didn't have a phone number for our nephew and that his electricity was out and may be out for awhile....OKAY, well I'm sleeping and nice and cozy and warm AND WIDE AWAKE THANK YOU FOR LETTING US KNOW....Anyway, we called him to let him know and he was already awake as well...So it is going to be a wonderful day I can tell...Don't ever start me out the day wrong, it will never straighten out now....But it is suppose to be in the 30's this week, so no complaints from me...I'm thinking about having a bbq and patio party...What do you think??? I'm thinking anything sounds good after hibernating for such a long time...Do you think I need to dig out the citronella candles or do you think we will be good on that yet???

Big Jer went to Daykin yesterday to take care of some farm things...He hasn't been on the gravel roads since the last storm...Some of the roads are still just one lane in areas, plus some of the drifts on the side of the road are 8 ft. tall...Good ole' Nebraska weather...I hope we can get the farm machinery out of the buildings by springtime....

Well I have started to do some deep cleaning...I'm not to deep into it yet, and probably won't be able to get knee high deep into it till next week...Just to many other things to get done first...I have started on my closet...What a disaster it is, clothes I haven't worn for a long time and I won't be wearing them either...So to Blue Valley they will go....Is it bad that I have clothes from High School??? Just kidding...

Well since I'm up earlier today, I guess it is expected that I will get a lot more done...I doubt it, but I'm going to give it a whirl....

Wishing you all a wonderful day...Take Care...

Someday everything will all make perfect sense..So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason....

Michale Guilford (Junker)

Hi everyone. It has been a long time that I've been on here. Haven't had time, work has been a bitch. My last day is Jan 29. Do have an interview thanks to Julie Huffman Mon the 18th. Have some other apps out there, so with God's will something will come thru for me.

Cindy you are a die hard. Every day with an update of weather and going ons in Fairbury. You go girl.

Think of you all and wish you the best in 2010

01/13/10 09:26 AM #6214

Michale Guilford (Junker)

Thanks Jim K and Robert F for the birthday wishes. It is always a tuff day for me but I manage. Thanks for thinking of me.

01/13/10 09:57 AM #6215

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good morning all...It is a sunshiny day today...Oh how the sunshine makes me feel good all under....The temps are to be in the 30's most of the week...And that is fine by me...

Michale..It is nice seeing you check in with us...I know you must be busy trying to find another job...I know in my heart that you will find something in the area you are looking for....That was nice of Julie H to help you out...It isn't always what you know but who you know that helps us out in life...Thank God for friends!!! Please let us know what kind of job you get when the time comes...We will pray for you to find something soon...Take Care my friend....HUGSSSS

Well I started to clean my closet a bit yesterday and got really bored with it, so probably should finish it up today...Plus of course I had 3 interupptions that took me away from the job...So frustrating...Thank you Big Jer for making me feel like I'm so needed...Any 1st grader could of done the things that you had me do...LOL...Oh how I gotta love him though...LOL

Some FHS news..The Fairbury wrestlers beat Beatrice last night...It is the first time in a very long time...Tyler wrestled for a couple years and I know how that Beatrice team is and their fans too....They are dirty wrestlers...They do the whole head butting etc....So that is pretty exciting for the high school boys...

I don't know anything (I never do)so I'm cutting this short, so maybe I can finish the closet today...

Wishing you all a great day...Take Care...

Life is a classroom in which each of us is being tested tried, and passed....

01/14/10 09:56 AM #6216

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning classmates...What a beautiful day it was yesterday...The temp got up to 45 degrees...It felt like a spring day...:0) It sounds as though the temps are to stay in the 40's through next week, with possibly another snowstorm coming next weekend...So I will take the 40 degree weather but could really do without the snowstorm...I really have seen enough snow now to last me till next winter...

Is it a sign of spring when you see a robin???? The last 2 days we have had birds swarming around all over...Most of them are robins and some blue jays...My first thought on seeing the robins was that spring was right around the corner...Or are the birds just confused with the nice weather we have been having???

Worked on some of my deep cleaning yesterday...Did a lot of scrubbing, going through some bathroom cupboards etc...I got up this morning with some sore spots on the body...Oh to get old...Then I look around and realize that I have a long ways to go in this house...But slow and sure it will get done over time...By the time I get done it will time to start all over again...

Hope you are all feeling energetic and have and wonderful day....Take Care...
