Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning...We just had a very small shower go through this morning...It is still cloudy, so I guess time will tell if we get anymore rain....

I really don't know anything as ususal...Haven't seen anybody to even learn anything...Life is too busy right now for me....Getting ready for the big corn planting...Have a million things to do before that even....

This weekend is the Fairbury High School Prom....Would anybody like to go with me???? Believe it or not, but the dance is still held in the old gym...Then they have a post prom at the new high school...Games, food, hyptonist, etc....WOW, we didn't get to do all of that....I'm sure we had much better things to do...;0)

Time is a ticking so I best get back to work...Hope you all have a terrific day...

Over the years, I've found that common sense is not all that common....

Good Morning all...What a beautiful morning it is today....Just a slight breeze so far ( I know this can change in a heartbeat) and the sun is oh so bright...It is going to be a good day...We ended up getting about .10 of rain....I could of probably spit that, don't you think???? LOL

We are getting things around to get some corn planted in the ground...Maybe going to start Friday, but they have chances of rain on and off...I have the feeling that the weathermen don't have a clue what is going on as all the weather stations have different predictions...

Tyler will be home this weekend as his girlfriends sister is up for prom queen...So will again put him to work...We have a lot of odds and ends jobs to do...He loves to tinker with things....He is a good organizer....I've taught him well....LOL

Don't know much else to share with you....We could use a bit of sharing on this website...

Wishing you a great day!!!!

You are richer today if you have laughed, given or forgiven....

Cindy...Of course if I lived in Fairbury I would go with you to watch the kids walk in at Prom! Makes me smile knowing they still use the Old Gym...lots of memories! Do they still put up the parachute...for the ceiling? I think we are all very lucky...we had some of the best proms ever!!! They don't put as much into it down here as we did...or maybe it is just the change of the times. Do they still work on it all week? Down here, they get only Friday to work on it....I mean, what can you possibly do in one day! Thanks for sharing with us...

Hello Mates,

Crappy 80 degrees, no Humidity, no breeze, no rain, no bugs. Guess we will just have to put up with it.

Hope all is well with everyone. Cindy P/J, must have just missed you the other night. Maybe we can try again. sounds like like you are keeping the boys busy with the farm work. when is the next Bull Sale? I would like to get there sometime during that, just to watch all the Mania that probably happens during it. Plus it sounds like you put on a pretty good feed Bag for the people also. Tell the Old Man Hello for Me. You Guy's should try to get out here sometime.

Cindy G/R, Whatup??? Thanks for the everyday weather update. Beats me getting on the weather Channel, plus you are more accurate. Hope the prom went well. If I remember right the only Magician we had was called Mr. Budweiser, after a few hours of Him we all Disappeared. Hope the planting is goin well. Barb talked to Travis the other Day and they were hard at it, maybe 1/2 done.

Jim K/West, Sounds like you are a busy man, with all the Athletic stuff goin on and the yard work and the Patio work, and the job, plus keeping up with the other Honey do list jobs, are you sure there isn't 2 of you???? You are a good Man Jim, keep up the Good work.

Matt, did you go to the Red White game?? If you did, I'am sure you had to see that OLD BASTARD SARGE there. I haven't seen Sarge for awhile, I'am sure by now though that he should be in the running for the Siver Hair Unicameral that is there.

Take care my Fellow mates,     Bill

Good Monday Morning to you all....WHEW....It was a busy busy weekend on the farm...Big Jer cracked the whip....UGH....Tyler was home so we got some much needed work done...Wow, we still have a long ways to go too...;0/  It did feel pretty good to get some of the little things done that we seem to push aside when we get busy....

The weather has been great....We ended up getting 1/2 inch of rain in Daykin, Thursday night...Our land in Kansas got 1 1/2 inches of rain....So good for the wheat....The corn planting is going strong now....They are talking chances of rain I think almost everyday this week....We will just have to see how accurate this is....hmmmm...

Tyler has 3 more weeks of school left and he will be home for the summer....Looking forward to that...He had a hard time going back yesterday, cuz he didn't want to get back to studying....4 tests this week...Next week is dead week and then finals....ONE more year to go....:0)

It was great for me to see that Sweet Pea. Keilwitz, and Bill had been on this weekend...

Bill...Geez, I would hate to have to put up with your weather...LOL...How are things going for Barb???  Hope she is on the road to recovery....Are you doing any grilling?????  Take Care my dear friend...Keep in touch!!!!

Keilwitz....Hope you get the patio done, so you can get on with the rest of the honey do list...LOL  I know how you men work....Sometimes you drag your feet a bit so you don't have to do all the things on the list...Since, us women can multi task we end up doing your work for you too....LOL....I know you will get it all done....You will need a vacation when all this is said and done...Are you coming to F-Town this summer?????  Take care....

Sweet Pea....Did you get any rain this last weekend???  I though of you the other day on my way back from the farms...So many people burning pastures....That is such a sight when fields are being burnt....I hope all is going well at Judd Ranch....Take Care...Love you....

I'm thinking a pajama party needs to be happening soon.....

Have a wonderful day today!!!!

Everyone is trying to accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of little things....

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Hello and Good Morning...

Yesterday was a picture perfect day....Temps in the 70's, sunshine and no wind....We don't get these kind of days in Nebraska very often...When we do, we need to stop and smell the roses....I forgot to do that yesterday....Dang...Today it is suppose to be nice with a bit of a breeze and then, starting tonight chances of rain through the week....YIKES....The corn is not all planted yet....Oh, it will get done in time...

Lisa called yesterday from Funk, NE....(that is where she works)....She told her Dad that the farmers are getting really antsy....He just laughed....She is finding out a lot about farmers working there....A great experience for her...She is just used to seeing her Dad in action and now she can see how other farmers work too....She loves her job there and the farmers she works with...There are a few farmers that weren't to happy dealing with a women, but are finding out that she gets things done for them and will go in on her days off and get the chemicals lined up to be applied....And she isn't afraid to get dirty..LOL...Actually, her boss that runs the elevator is also a women....So they call their elevator the henhouse and they wear pink on Friday....Even have some of the men joining them...LOL

So does anybody have big plans for the spring/summer???  School will soon be done for the year...Man do the years fly by...

Tyler called last night and said he is so ready to be done with this semester....It was a big, busy, and hard semester for him...A lot of busy work....He has 4 tests this week, next week is dead week, and then 4 more tests for finals week....Then he can come home and get in the dirt....He loves that....:0)  He will take a couple appraisal classes for the summer...Just 4 days of that....

Well, I have a honey do list from the family...What is wrong with this picture????  I thought I was suppose to give out the honeyd do list...HMMMMM

So I'm off to getting some things done before the phone starts ringing or I have to run to the farm....Wishing you all a fabulous day....

Challenges are what makes life interesting:  Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful....

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Top of the morning to you all...It is rather gloomy looking out this morning...Still talking of chances of rain...Haven't seen any yet....We have about 3 more days of corn planting left to do....So yes, the rain would be good for that, but would of course love to have all the corn in the ground....That is what is so fun about farming, there are lots of challenges, risks, and stress...Wouldn't change things for nothing...Love it!!!!!

So, the website has been really quiet....Whats up with that???  We are going to have to get together some night here soon...I always enjoy visiting with everybody...:0)

You know the old saying, early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise???  I don't think that is working for me so much....Maybe it is because, I'm late to bed...Do you think???

Little Buddy...Are you so busy planting those prize winning maters or what???  Haven't heard from you or that Nippler for what seems like forever....I think Nippler is out talking to his plants....I wish you two the best of luck with the gardens this year....May the best man have the best crops...:0)

It is back to the ole grind for me, as I'm already behind before I even get started.....

Wishing you all a great day!!!!

Laugh at yourself once in awhile; give yourself a break....

Morning All, Hope things are well... Got home about 2 this morning, got up early to get things done and it started sprinkling on me... Looks like it might clear off in alittle bit, hope so, need some dry weather... They are predicting rain the rest of the week...

Bill Sell, I get this way when I'm put myself on a dead line, put the blinders on and push, push ,push, til it's done... I usually get really cranky when things don't go as planned, like rain for the next 2 days when I have the time to work on it, then the 1 1/2 days I'm at work it will be nice here...

Cindy G, The projects will get done. I had hoped to get some of it done last fall. Hows that go? Your up till midnight the night before finishing up... O' lifes challenges, they keep ya going...

Take care!!!!

04/23/10 09:58 AM #6628

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning from F-Town....A wet morning it is here....WE received .85 inches of rain last night...This will be so good for the wheat, and will help the corn that is planted to come up...See I was real positive about the whole thing...We still have a couple days left of planting, but it WILL get done, so I need not to worry....right????...

Now, that it rained, Big Jer and I are headed out to Holdrege to see Lisa....We haven't been there for sometime, so are really excited to go out....We are suppose to play golf tonight, but they had 1 1/2 inches as of 7 this morning and it was still pouring....So we will see what happens...I'm sure we will find something else to do....Can't wait....:0)

I really don't know anything, and I need to get some things around before we leave today....So I will talk with you all later.....

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend....Have some fun!!!!!

Instead of giving reasons why I can't, I give reasons why I can...

04/26/10 09:40 AM #6629

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning classmates.....Man did the weekend ever go fast....We ended up getting about 1 inchof rain for the weekend....It was getting a bit dry here, so that was nice to have....Of course it shut down the planting process, but we have been having wild and crazy winds....Very strong and it makes it down right chilly out....I'm sure the fields will dry up fast with all this air blowing around....

We went to Lisa's Friday afternoon...We were going to play golf with them (I don't play, just go along for the ride) but the winds were out of this world and they were talking about some storms coming...So we just hung out at her home and talked, laughed and had a wonderful time...We went to a nice restaurant to eat and then went to a bar that had karoake...We really had a fun time...Good to get away from here for a night and especially when you get to see your daughter too...:0)

So yesterday, Big Jer, must of thought we had enough of a break...As, I'm doing up some laundry and working around he tells me he is going to start getting some of the mowing done on the farms....So we ended up mowing and got it all done....So now we are ahead of schedule on the mowing and I'm behind schedule on my household duties...So I guess I will try to get caught up with some of that today...And Big Jer has me on call....I don't really know why he calls it ON CALL, when he usually calls...It should be WILL CALL....

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend....Now to start off another new week....Take Care...

Life consists not in holding good cards, but in playing those you hold well....

Good Morning All, Hope your weekend went well... It's 28 and clear this morning, got home yesterday morning at 10, thought we had better get caught up on the mowing the yards, did that untill 3 then quit because it cooled down and the wind came up... Trying to figure out where to start today, can't work on the patio, after all the rain it's just a mug hole right now.. Have 1 more yard to mow and then spot spray for dandilions, but that will have to wait until after lunch...

Hey Cindy G, I was reading lincoln paper on line. Did some kids get in a wreck on PWF road? Are they OK?

Take care, need to get going on something...

04/27/10 09:18 AM #6631

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning....What happened to the Spring weather...BRRRRRR....Yesterday we had temps about 60 with wind gusts that were unreal...Made for a very chilly day...Especially if you were out in the open fields....Today, we are having some pretty good winds this morning, but they are suppose to die down this afternoon...Time will tell....

Well, we are still planting corn and had to shut down operations early do to some drizzling....We should be able to get it done in the next couple days...Then we will be getting ready to go on to planting the beans...Talks of rain coming....

Keilwitz....Nice seeing you on here....The darn weather seems to be messing up everybodies schedules....Hope you are able to get the patio done before graduation...When is your graduation???  On the wreck at the PWF road....I'm sure many of you remember Tony James....It was his daughter who was driving the vehicle....Her brother and two others were in the car with her...According to what I have heard, she ran a stop sign and was broad sided by a lady in a pickup....They were all taken to the hospital....I believe 2 were life flighted to Lincoln....I have not heard any updates on them....I have heard of broken ribs, jaw, cuts and bruises...That is all I know on that....Have a great day...

Sweet Pea...How are things on the ranch????  Haven't heard from you in awhile....They must really have you working hard, girl....I know you always work hard....Did you get a bunch of rain last week????  Hope all is well with you and your family....Love ya

Have a great day!!!

It is better to be hated for what you are , than to be loved for something you are not...

Evening

Since we have gotten rain we switched back over to cow work and fiinshed that up.  Now the girls are out on grass for the summer.....always a good feeling!  Anyway, finished until weaning time on the fall group.  Jim and Cindy, still too wet to be in the fields around here too.  But they won't have to look to far to find a project....probably move to pen clean up...it is a big mess with the winter we have had!

04/28/10 09:08 AM #6633

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all....Yesterday ended up being a pretty nice day out....The winds died down in the afternoon which was a blessing....There are suppose to be 10-20 mph winds today....Each weatherman says differant things which only confuses a person on what to do...Big Jer says we will go by what the weather channel says as they don't have much, for chances of rain forecasted...The local channels have chances everyday....GEEEZZZZZ

So the planting of corn continues and should be seeing the end of it today....Awwwww...It is always nice to get one thing accomplished and on to another one...Never ending around here..Always something to do whether you want to or not...LOL

Sweet Pea...Glad the girls are out in the grass....Accomplishment done...You know what I mean when I say there is always something to do, I know....Never a dull moment...I'm needing to clean windows, never can find a time to get it done...Especially with these winds we have been having....I'm afraid when I put water on them they will turn into mud balls...That is how dirty they are...UGH...I don't have to shut the blinds as no one can see through the dirt...Are you getting the picture on how dirty they are yet...LOL...Hope you have a wonderful day....Miss you...Love you...Hugssss

Wishing you all a fabtabulous day......

I don't think of all the misery, but of the beauty that still remains....

Grin and bear it, Right?  Cindy G, the graduation is May 16, I was hoping to have it done by May 1st, so I had time to get things cleaned up and some grass planted... I guess you just keep after it and things work out the way they do.... Thanks for the update on the kids, I hope they are doing well...

Take care, gotta run....

Haven't been on for awhile......Sweetie wants us to share.....sooooooo.............

Well the garden is in.......Look out Messing!!!!

Didn't make it to the Husker Spring game. Sargie as it turns out is filling his Saturdays with this stop class gig.....seems that there are alot of speeders in this town!! I've heard that alot of them are women...just what I have heard.....that ought to bring people out of the woods!!!!

The big talk here is the proposed new arena....vote on it May 10th...it probably is really need but if you where to see the streets here. The area that it is to be located on is north of the Harris overpass by downtown. BNSF and UP railyard yard is there now......city has alotted 7.5 mil for clean up of the ground that is underneath it. Just seems the money could be spent in alittle better way...just my 2 cents???

The job is taking me out of town these day....Out by the Fonz ...south of the town of Eagle. Woodland Hills golf course area is close to the area where I'm working. Jim Selk and his wife live there on the course. Still remember his modern problems class. This job will probably take me out of town for the next 2 or 3 years.....the man has more money then time!! Working on his shop right now  7,500 sq ft with redwood from a fallen tree from California....100 grand for a redwood tree...shop is for his cars...Bentley....Porshe....Austin Martin....this is just the start. 5-600 sq ft cabins....8,000 sq ft lodge......Olympic size swimming pool.....and this is just the start. Built it and they will come...I guess????

Also starting a play house for Dan Whitney...AKA Larry the cable guy. Talk about working with two different personalities...the guy above is straight and to the point and Dan....well Dan is Dan...not to  much of a care in the world. Both are very nice guys just got to where they are in different ways, I guess.

Going this weekend to look at some ground in the land of Oz...center of the land of Oz.  Should be interesting..... I'll let you know how that turns out.....maybe some pics??

Hope everyone one is doing well........love ya

Good Morning...

WOW, we had some stormy weather last night....Ended up with 1.78 inches of rain, winds, and nickel sized hail....YIKES....Big Jer is on a mission this morning...Scouting the fields for damage and if he will have to replant anything....There were tornadoes in the area also....I believe they were more in the Diller area and Washington Kansas also...I'm not quite needing bad weather already this spring....

Little Buddy it was such a pleasant surprise to see you FINALLY  made it on the website...I love when you write us about what is going on in your life...So, is this guy making a campground or what???  Just for his family and friends????  Maybe you could just go and have a vacation there when it is all said and done...He may let you just come and go whenever you want to stay, since I know you will do a wonderful job with the plumbing....Because YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!  Did Kristie get a speeding ticket, or what????  I will have to say that this women has never had a speeding ticket...I've had a warning, but NO ticket....Because I do not want to have to go to a class and have it be Sargey that is teaching me how to drive and to slow down...LOL...Have a great weekend Little Buddy.....Miss you and love ya...

Sweet Pea...Did you have storms last night???  I always feel sorry for the cows that have to be out in the middle of these storms...Pelted with the hail etc....Hope all is well at the Ranch....Take Care...Love ya

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend....

How many roads must a man walk down before he admits he's lost....

Hello...Looks like there was a birthday party in Wichita this weekend.  Larry Morehead, Dave and myself were in the Wichita area on Saturday night...we made a trip to New Mexico delivering bulls and we were headed back home, but since my invitation got lost in the mail....... (just kidding)  Looks like you all had a great time!  Happy Birthday again, Terry!

Cindy, On the way down to New Mexico, early Friday morning, we ran into hail near Emporia......I don't think we got any hail here.  Thank goodness!  I hope Jerry's crops are not up too far so they didn't get pelted!  It does seem early for all that!  I think our corn is just peeking through.

Matt, Cindy is right....great hearing from you!  Sounds like you have a BIG project in front of you!  Always good to have plenty of work lined out....keeps you out of trouble!

I was working on a painting project and it started to sprinkle, out of nowhere...but now I see the sun, so maybe I will try to finish this!

Good Morning....

It is a beautiful, sun shiny kind of morning today....I always love to wake up to sunshine...Makes my day a lot more productive...Yesterday was a pretty day too....I wish we could have the rest of the summer with wonderful temps and beautiful sunshine....:0)

The fields are still plenty wet to get into yet....Big Jer is biting at the bullet....He has a lot of things to keep him busy, so that is good...Keeps him out of my hair...LOL....Wait, he will probably be calling me to help him...UGH....Then everyone wonders why I can't get my work done...Oh well, it will get done sometime...Life goes on!!!!!

Keilwitz, the days are passing by pretty fast, I hope you are getting some of the honey-do-list done....I feel for you...So many projects so liitle time...It will get done, stay calm....

Sweet Pea....I miss you...We are going to have to get together for some girl time this summer....Sound like a deal??? Of course we will have quite a job finding a time that will work for both of us...That could be a job in itself...LOL...We will get it done somehow....Wishing you a wonderful day....Love and Hugs to you....

Hoping you all are doing well and wishing you a wonderful week....Take Care

Matt Jarchow

Cindy....yes there was a B-day party in W-town. As for invites....no...we just showed up. LOL

Sargie...John and myself took off Sat. A.M. for W-town. I Would fill you in on what the topics of conversation were on the trip down.....but then would promptly have to kill you. Guy talk I guess.....and we also solved most of the worldly problem on the way.

Only got lost once...should have listen to Sargie GPS a little closer. What ever he calls her...yes the GPS has a womens voice so.....Sargie gave her a womens name. What I didn't bother to tell you is that this Messing character give some weird directions to get to his house...might have been part of the problem???

Grilled out in the afternoon....Terry we all found out likes to use a egg timer to do just about everything cooking......well at least we hope he uses it just for cooking????  2 minutes???

Got to meet some of Terry friends...yes he does have more then just one. Terry is in good hands with them...alot of great people.

Got to see the Messing garden....even took pics of the maters. Don't tell him but I think his are ahead of mine???

Sunday morning came pretty early...finally got to the hotel around 2 AM. All of us kept a low profile.....you cannot believe everything that you read on other sites, kind of like the Enquirer....there was NO moon or moons that appeared Sat. night......to cold!!!

P.S. got to see the goat...that brought back alot of memories.

This Messing family showed us a good time...Thanks to the CEO and Terry.........
