Good Morning all....I have kind of been neglecting this website, which I don't like doing...We have been very busy here and it looks as though it isn't going to slow up for awhile yet....The days have been pretty nice other than we have been having some strong Nebraska winds....It got up to 85 the other day, but they are talking of some rain or storms tonight and then the temps being in the 50's-60's this weekend....

Matt....Sounds as though you had a great time in the land of Oz with Nippler....I can tell by the pics. that he has aged terribly since the big 50th birthday party....WHAT?????  Stayed up till 2 A.M.?????  WTH....Are you guys trying to be like spring chickens again?????  Do you realize that you can never get those lost hours of sleep back????  I bet you guys are suffering this week...Serves you right!!!!  I think you should of taken me and Sweet Pea along to supervise this road trip....I'm sure things went on that shouldn't have and we would of been right on top of the situation....You know it!!!!  Thank you for not telling us what the conversations were on this road trip....I can only imagine the things you guys talked about....Hope all is well with you and Christie....Thank you for coming on the website....I wished more would join in....Love and miss you Little Buddy....HUGSSSS

Sweet Pea....Have the winds blew you away in Kansas???  Haven't seen hide nor hair of you here lately....I'm not liking that so much....Miss you girlfriend....Hope all is well at Judd Ranch....Love and Hugs....

Wishing you all a wonderful day....Take Care...

Since Mothers Day is coming this weekend, I'm going to dedicate some sayings to all the mothers....

God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers......

Good Evening!

I'm still here, the Kansas winds have not gotten rid of me yet!

Matt, Thank you for posting and telling us about the party.  All Sarge could tell us is YUP!  Whatever that means?  I do believe Sweetie is right...I think we should have went a long on this trip to supervise....!  Glad to hear you had fun!  Oh by the way...I'm getting in this mator contest too....I put a plant in one of my flower pots....I hope that will work!

Cindy, this wind is crazy!  Planted flowers all day yesterday...I hope this wind does not uproot them!  My poor crew is out replanting corn.....we got such a down pour right after they were done planting, now some of the seed can not get through...it is always something...isn't it? Hope Jerry didn't have the same problem!  As always, I love your message....you are too sweet!

Good Friday Morning to you all....We ended up getting some rain last night....I have not ventured out in the wet, windy weather this morning, but the F-Town radio station said we had an inch of rain....Big Jer is out scouting the fields as I speak...So time will tell if there is any damage etc....Hopefully we didn't get any hail or heavy rains to wash the newly planted fields....I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

Keilwitz....I hope this weather is not working against you and the pouring of the cement....It is getting close to being crunch time, buddy....It always all gets done, but sometimes it can be a worry....Did you get snow recently????  I thought I had heard that possibly western Nebraska could get some white stuff....I hope it bypassed you....Keep plugging along my dear friend and when all is said and done, you can sit back, put up the feet, pop open a cold one, and RELAX.....Have a great weekend....Hugsss

Sweet Pea....Good idea with the tomato plant....Maybe I should do that too and then we could have a contest like Matt and Nippler....LOL....Sorry to hear you are having to replant....UGH....Been there and done that before...Its sad to know they have already went through the hard work and now to do it all over again...Plus, the extra money to redo it....I will pray for you to have a wonderful crop this time around....:0)  I have yet to plant my flower pots...I just have been busy and not in the mood I guess...Maybe it is because I don't feel like being in the wind anymore than I already am...Getting crotchity again...LOL...Wishing you and Judd Ranch the best with the planting, and a wonderful weekend....Miss you....HUGSSSS

I hope all  of you have a fantastic weekend....Don't forget about all the Mothers...

If I had a flower for each time I thought of my Mother, I could walk in my garden forever...

Good Morning All, Hope you are doing well... Took a chance yesterday and finished pouring the patio, stayed cool and cloudy most of the day but it IS done, had a small rain storm come in yesterday afternoon...  We just got done putting the finishing touches on it and got it covered before it started raining... Probably a good thing, they're talking rain Mon. & Tue....

Cindy G., No snow, little colder today, only suppose to hit 50...

Well gotta go, need to repay a guy who helped me yesterday, so I'm helping him today...

Take Care!!!!

Good Morning all....Well yesterday was a chilly and VERY WINDY day....UGH....We ended up getting about an inch of rain the night before and bad news for Rosener Ag....We have all of our wheat fields in Kansas and the storm hit hard there....We have 100% loss on our wheat....Life isn't always a bowl of cherries in the farming world....So we put our best foot forward and go with the flow....We will be tearing up the wheat fields and planting another crop in them....We will just have to figure it all out yet....The STRESS level at our home is pretty high right now, but we will move on and know that no matter what hits us, we are still trully blessed....

Mothers Day is approaching us fast......Happy Mothers Day to all my classmate mothers....Have a wonderful day of doing whatever it is you want to do...This is your day!!!!!

My babies sent me the most beautiful bouquet of springtime flowers yesterday.....I'm so blessed to be their mother....I love them so much...They are the best!!!!

Keilwitz....WHEW....So glad to hear the patio is finished....I knew you would get it done....Its always so fun to work under pressure, isn't it?????  Now on with the million other things you will have to do to make this graduation party a sucess....Good Luck getting it all put together....Have a great weekend....

Sweet Pea....Sorry to hear that you are having to replant....It seems when we want rain it doesn't come and when we don't it is here in buckets full....Damn....Give those ranchers a big hug for me and tell them to hang in there....Thinking of you guys....Happy Mothers Day!!!!  HUGSSSS.....

Enjoy your weekend classmates....Take Care

I believe at love at first sight....Because I've been loving my mother since I opened my eyes...

Good Morning All, It's cool and cloudy here today, suppose to be that way until Friday, had a hard freeze Saturday morning, 14 degrees... That keeps everyone talking about the weather...

Just been busy chasing the kids around... Abby had her graduation from Chadron this weekend, Morgan had her last band concert last nite, then senior breakfast Wednesday morning... She has district track on Thursday and graduation this weekend... Hoping the weather breaks soon, need to get a few things done yet and our lawns mowed before the weekend...

Well I hope it warms up down there, looks like you guys had rain storms passing through there as well... Take Care!!!

05/12/10 09:42 AM #6652

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all....It has been awhile since I have been on...Shame on me!!!  We have been busy doing a variety of things around here....The weather continues to be cool, WINDY, and WET...The weatherman said the other night that we have had windy days for 10 days straight, and he can add a few more days to that now....This morning, the re is a mist in the air and you can just see the wind blowing it....There are talking of some winter weather in north west Nebraska...They can keep that out there....

Well, we have lots of decisions to make since the wheat got hailed out last week....Been working on a lot of that, plus whatever else hits us....It would be nice to get in the fields again and get all this planting behind us....That way we could get on to other things....We have a lot of THINGS to be done yet...LOL

I hope all my classmate mothers had a fantastic Mother's Day....It was great for me as both of my kids were here with me in my nest...Such a good feeling....I miss those days even though I know those days will be fewer as time goes on....

I did have some of the best news last weekend....My son, Tyler proposed to his girlfriend of 3 1/2 years....We are so excited for them and we couldn't ask for a better future daughter-in-law...Mikaela is a wonderful girl and is from Fairbury...Her parents are Lymon and Shelly Hamm....Although, no date has been set, I think they will wait till they are finished with college next year...(But what do I know, they may surprise me too..LOL)...Does this put me in the wicked Mother-in-law category????  OH NO!!!!!!

It looks as though the weather may be good for graduation this weekend...In the 70's this Sunday....Hopefully the wind will die down, so people can have their parties outside if they choose...Do you guys remember our graduation day????  and night????  I believe we went to Debbie Tremblay's house for a bit of a party that night....How fun!!! I remember the cops kept driving by and Debbie's mom, Barb kept yelling that we were all spending the night....LOL...Good times...

Wishing all of you a great day....I hope wherever you are the wind isn't blowing...This is getting old and just the sound of it is driving me crazy.....Take Care...

I don't suffer from insanity I enjoy every minute of it...

Hello Cindy, and Mates,

Yes I do sort of remember Graduation Day. I was so amazed that I got a Diploma that I was Delirous. In fact, I still carry the pocket size in my wallet. Need proof  for non-beleivers. Debbie's house is a memory. The whole High School scene was wonderful for me.I have told barb several times that I would never change a thing in my High school days. They were the best times of my life. You Mates made that possible.

Weather not to bad out here today, 80's and windy. No rain. Same old Shit.

Barb finally getting off the IV's. Hasn't ate anything since Mar.10th. I have to start sharpening my cooking skills.

Hope all is well with everyone, Take Care, Bill

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning everyone....Well today is a partly cloudy day....Of course the wind is blowing as usual, but the temps are suppose to be warmer...Time will tell I guess...We had a storm go through here about 7 or so last night....Rain, wind, thunder, lightening, and hail....The hail was about pea sized so hopefully our one and only wheat field we have will still be good to go....

Bill....I'm so glad that Barb is getting better....You need to make some of her favorite dishes....I sure wish we could have some 80's temps...That would feel pretty damn good...You can keep the wind, as we have plenty of that here...LOL...GEEEZZZZ, if you type any smaller I'm going to have to get some stronger reading glasses....LOL...Don't you just love technology...Hope things continue to go well for Barb and you...Take Care my friend....HUGSSSS

Sweet Pea...How is the wind in Kansas????  I keep wanting to wash windows, but never get the chance when there is chances of rain about everyday...I will not wash them with a chance of rain, cuz if I going to do all that work I would like them to look clean for at least a day or two....Hope all is well at Judd Ranch....Miss you, girl....HUGSSSS

Bill, was oh so right....I have some wonderful memories of my high school years...If I would of just broadened my horizons a bit, I know I would of had many more good times....But, I have connected and reconnected with many of my classmates and it is the best thing that has happened to me over the years....You all hold a special place in my heart and think of you often....

Wishing you all a terrific day....

Love is a gift you can give everyday!!!!!!

Good Saturday Morning

I have not checked in lately....

Bill, glad to hear Barb is improving, you must be quite the nurse by now!   As for the memories at FHS....I think we all feel so lucky to have been raised in Fairbury, where you could still be a kid.  Oh, I have something to share with you Bill, had one of the Saturday School Teachers contact me on Facebook....remember the trouble we caused them?

Cindy, Still here....WE ahve been getting too much rain AGAIN!  Dave and the boys ave replanted parts of the corn crop because of the hammering rain...then the other night it did it again...we got 3 inches in a short time. As you say...the FUN life of a farmer.  Now they have corn that was plowed under coming up..it is a mess!

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good morning all....It is a cloudy, drizzly kind of day here in F-Town....And of course the wind is picking up too...Not a real good day for the graduating class of 2010....A lot of changes for receptions I'm sure....

Keilwitz...Hope you got everything done and ready to go for the graduation by now....So many stresses to get things just the way you want them...Have a great time and Congratulations to your daughter...

Sweet Pea....I hear ya on the wet weather....We have a lot of planting to get done yet also....And even more since the wheat got hailed out....Just when you think it is getting close to getting back in the field it rains again...It doesn't take much to get it wet as the ground is pretty saturated....Come July we will probably wished we had some rain...LOL...Life goes on and we just make the best of what we have to work with...

I really don't know a thing, as I haven't really been anywhere to find out any news....If something comes up I will be the first to let you know...LOL

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend....

Cindy G, here's the low down, finished everything up Saturday @ 3PM, patio done, grass back in, fence back up. Done, Just waiting for Sunday, even cleaned up garage (plan B)... Sunday morning, rained until 10, what the heck, set everything up to be outside... Cleared off at noon, looking good, head to Graduation, starts at 2PM, of course we are there early, thunder heads roll in... People getting nervous, they start 5 minutes early, 15 minutes later getting dark, starts to sprinkle, for about 5 minutes, we make it through... 30 minutes later skies clear and it's nice until dark, worked out nice... We finished up picking everything up today and now it's just a memory, goes by so quickly...

Well Gang, Take care, going to bed early!!!!

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all....A very foggy morning it is in F-Town....Hopefully we will see some sun today...Tired of the gloomy weather....The temps have been crazy as well....This weekend we had som

e days in the upper 50's to lower 60's and now this weekend they are talking of upper 80's to lower 90's....I like the thought of higher temps, but could we possibly go into the heat wave a bit slower....I love the weather when it is in the 80's...

Keilwitz...So glad you got everything finished and ready to go for the graduation party....Isn't it amazing how your put countless hours into getting prepared for it and then it  is over in a flash....So much stressing....I think you learn a bit of that on the first graduation so the next one you don't care if there is a a speck of dirt in a corner somewhere...LOL...I'm greatful things went well and congrats to your daughter and yourself as well....Is she going to college and possibly where???  It always seems you are up all hours of the night and coming and going all the time, do you ever sleep?????  LOL  Hope you get to sit back and relax on your new patio...Take Care...

Graduation parties last weekend...Always good to see a lot of people and all the good food....The graduates are always so excited to start their new lives....

Hope this finds you all well....Have a fantastic day....

Morning All, It's 48 and overcast this morning, rained most of the morning yesterday... I think we got close to an inch, talk about being a cool spring, still have the heat on in the house...

Last day of school today for Ty, have 8th grade graduation tonite, then on Sunday he'll have comfirmation... I know he's ready for summer,,, They are getting the dirt bikes out tomorrow and going up by Chadron to ride the trails in  the Pine Ridge...

Looks like work on the truck for me today...

Take care and have a good day!!!

05/20/10 09:43 AM #6661

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Hello classmates...I would say good morning, but it is the same kind of morning it seems as we have been having all spring....Very gloomy....We had around .50 inch of rain through the night and it continues to rain at this time...UGH...Temps are suppose to be in the 80's this weekend, so we will see about that...

Will Big Jer ever get back in the field????  I'm beginning to wonder...It seems just when things are starting to dry up enough to get the tractor in the field the rain begins again....We have quite a bit of beans to plant yet, so hopefully we will be able to get them in yet....

Not to much exciting going on here in F-Town....It is kind of like this winter....Whenever you talk to anybody they talk about the rain....Nobody is doing anything exciting I guess...I'm sure the baseball/softball season has started, but they probably can't play most of the time...DUE TO WEATHER....

What has been going on in your lives???  Any big vacations planned this summer??  Tell us about them...Love hearing what all of you are doing in your lives...Better than talking about rain...:0)

I don't know anything else, pretty much have been confined here in F-Town and nothing much going on here....Other than rain....

Wishing you all a terrific day....Take Care....

Morning...It is a gloomy morning here as well!

Rain Rain go away, come again some other day!  We have flood warnings here now, usually the Marais des Cygnes river valley floods every time we get lots of rain and it is that time of year!  My neighgbor has a trail ride scheduled for us to go on next week...but now I might have to stay home to drive a truck....BECAUSE NOW THE WEATHER IS FINALLY GOING TO STOP RAINING SO WE CAN BE IN THE FIELD!  GREAT TIMING!

05/21/10 08:53 AM #6663

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning all....It is a gloomy, very foggy morning  thus far....According to the local weathermen it is suppose to be a perfect day today....Right at this point it doesn't look like its so perfect, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will come out and burn the fog and clouds away....The temps are still to be in the 80's and possibly hit the 90's this weekend....But of course they throw in a chance of showers each and every day....I think we probably ended up getting about an inch of rain yesterday....The ground is so saturated, I hope it will dry up enough to get the tractor back in the field soon....It could get a bit grumpy around here if we can't plant a seed sometime soon....

Wish there was something exciting to do this weekend....Even if there was we will probably sit and (hopefully) watch the fields dry....I don't think  we will probably get to sit either....LOL....Maybe I could travel by gravel and do field inspections...Where is Roe when we need to write up a new song????  I miss those days of getting together on here and visiting with my classmates...It went on for quite some time, then we had the reunion and it seemed that people dwindled from here...We had the most interesting conversations and I never laughed so hard at times...Sometimes out loud and until the tears were rolling out of my eyes....OH HOW I MISS ALL OF YOU!!!!!  We may have to have a website reunion....What does everyone think about that????

Well I best be getting things done here at the homefront, so I can watch the fields dry...LOL

Wishing you all an enjoyable weekend....Relax.....enjoy....

Jim Keilwitz

Morning All, Hope your day is starting off well... Had quite them storm blow thru yesterday, wind and hail, I think we were on the edge of it, some damage but not bad... Scottsbluff got hit hard, a couple of car dealerships think they had close to 400 cars damaged, windows completely knocked out, sure do feel lucky not having to deal with that...

I think we are all caught up on everything, Ty had his comfirmation on Sunday, had a nice day and it went smoothly... Now I'm just trying to figure out what to do next, everything the last three weeks was geared for the kids stuff, all I could do was focus on that...

Well better go, have an eye appointment this morning, things seem to keep changing... Take Care!!

05/25/10 09:54 AM #6665

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good Morning classmates...Sorry it has been awhile since I have been on here...We have been busy TRYING to get some soy bean seeds in the ground....We had 3 good days in and another .70 inches of rain last night....It is always good to get the rain, but the ground is still so saturated that when it rains it takes about 4-7 days to get it dried out enough to get back in the field....And of course when it storms always the chance of washing the fields, or crusting so seeds plants won't come through....This usually leads to replanting....UGH...Just seems we can't get going this spring....Hopefully things will straighten up one of these days..

We had some strong winds last night with the storm that went through...Heard there were branches, trees, and power lines down....Yesterday was really windy with temps in the 80's....

Tyler finishes his 1st round of real estate and appraisal classes today....One down and a ways to go....There are 4 licenses that you can get and he wants them all, so he will be 1/2 way done for the first license this summer....He is hoping to have the first license by the time he graduates from UNL next May...

My daughter continues to try to keep the farmers happy with her agronomy sells in the Holdrege area....She said it is a bit harder with all the rain....They are getting a bit grumpy on her....I would think she would be use to it livinig with her Dad all those years....Maybe it is just different then living with a Grump....

Yes, the mood around here is getting a bit grumpier each and every day....After 27 years of being the farm wife I am used to it....I have learned to just go along with what ever hits me....It just makes things a lot easier...LOL....I know right now is not the time to bring up anything about redecorating or wanting to buy something....  It is so true that a person gets wiser the older they get...LOL...I think I have learned the hard way at times...Sometimes I just like to push things to see how far I can get with it....But, right now, today, I know, I will not push anybodys buttons....

I hope all is well with all of you...Wishing you a wonderful day...Take Care!!!!

The hardest things in life are usually the most rewarding in life......

Morning!

Looking like rain here too! We are waiting patiently to get in the the alfalfa field to chop the first cutting, usually by now we have that job complete...Cindy you are right, this spring things seem to be drug out.

Well since I can not get anyone to budge on a vacation here, I went on a 2 day excursion myself.  I flew down to Galveston, Texas and met up with Lyle, Penny and their youngest daughter, Whitney and my parents.  We had a great time....I just wish I could have stayed longer!  Didn't see any of the oil spill there, thank goodness!

05/26/10 09:17 AM #6667

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Hello all....Been up for what seems like a long time already today....Woke up with thunder and rain AGAIN this morning....Sounds like we had about .30 - .50 around the area....UGH...One of these days we will wish we had some rain, but it would be nice to scatter it out a bit more....It ended up being a beautiful day yesterday and hopefully it will be a wonderful day today as well...

Worked a bit in the flowers yesterday and still have a ways to go...Today I need to do some cleaning in my hut....The dust factor around here is getting a bit thick...  The dust bunnies are hopping around on the wood floor too....Dang where does all this dirt come from???/

Keilwitz....You are going to be lost on what to do now that things will slow down for you....Besides that you have everything done now....Hopefully you can relax a bit now...You deserve it!!!!

Sweet Pea....Glad you got to get away from it all...I bet you had a great time with your family in Galveston...Sounds fun!!!  Now back to reality girl....LOL....Did you get all your planting done???  Are you still having rains too???  Wishing you a great day!!!  love you, girlfriend....

I hope you all have a terrific day....The week is half over, so the weekend is coming and a long weekend yet....Wishing you all a wonderful Memorial weekend....
