WOW!  The Total Sound/Total Reunion was simply amazing!  I wish you all could have attended.  (Maybe I would have been able to get to bed at a decent hour.)  Jeff Marcy from Oregon, Pat Garrett from Tennessee and Roe Martin from Texas even attended.  BUT!  Matt and I (rode together) were voted the people who traveled the longest for the shortest distance.  It only took us THREE hours to get from Lincoln to Fairbury!  Matt was able to eliminate two towns off his Bucket List... St. Marys and Burr.  We also determined that IA, MO and KS are nice this time of year.

BTW, keep your eyes peeled, we're having another get together in September.  We're going to see some FOOTBALL!

What the Hell, was Sarge the only one that went to the Party last weekend???

 I was expecting a full report from you Mates. Did ya all have to many Cocktails in ya to remember it?? Can't believe Sarge remembered it....(must of had a date, had to stay sober)

 My Boy was there. I asked Him if He had a good time, of course He said yes. The one thing he did say was there was only OLD people there. I asked Tanner what do you mean old. His answer, 333333333333333335555555555555555555555....... Is He in for a surprise in a few years. They come faster then you think....

It's finally cooled to the lower 100's, which may not sound like much to you guy's, but is really a blessing to work in. We are also at 30 percent humidity which doesn't help.. I Know, I Know, Waa, Waa, Waa....

 Football season right around the corner. Go Big Red..Got this ASSHOLE USC Alum. at work talkin shit about the Huskers. Would love to BEAT his ass. I did tell him though,( at least all our Wins and Losses, were Honest) that shut the Bastard up...

Good Evening Ladies, Howdy Gents.....How is everyone? 

Bill....nice to see you on here!  So it is cooling off a bit in Vegas?  It has been humid and hot here, each afternoon it is so hot, it builds up another thunderstorm....only making it worse!!!  It does make the grass and crops grow though......just hard to put up hay when it rains every other day!

Sarge....looks like you had a grand time at the reunion!  Is this seriously going to become an annual thing, sure hope I can be there next year!  Our class was very well represented...that is good!!! 

Is Sweetie back from vacation?  Sweetie...I miss you!

Hello everyone....

Just got back from vacation yesterday and today have been hard at it getting things organized around here and of course 900 loads of laundry..UGH...So much for vacation...LOL

We had a hot wonderful time at the Ozarks....It was real hot, humid but we had so much fun....Went boating everyday, the kids swam and did some tubing as well..Did some shopping of course, ate delicious food and indulged in good cold drinks....I wish we could turn around (when the laundry is done) and head back down...So relaxing and peaceful...Awwwww....It was great to have our kids and fiance and boyfriend along with us to share the good times....

So I hear the Total Sound Reunion was a huge hit...Was so glad to hear that...Looks as though they are going to be doing a repeat next year...Well it also looks like I will have to miss it again...It will be vacation time again....Sorry guys, but I'm NOT going to give up my vacation....I look to forward to it each and every year....I think we need to have some pictures of the reunion on here so people who didn't get to go can see what they missed out on....Maybe they will be there next year...

Sweet Pea....You didn't get to go???  I thought you were going...Dang....I guess you and I will have to have our own private party...LOL...With two hands of course...LOL..

Kind of depressing to come home and see the crops burning up by the minute...WE NEED RAIN!!!!  NOW!!!!  Things are showing stress big time...A nice 3 inch soaking rain would be the cats meow at this point....  Pray for rain.....A few months ago we had to much...Geez, I wish we could spread that out a bit...

Well the dryer is ringing its bell, so I guess I better go do some folding and put another load in....

Good Morning all....Whew, it is going to be a HOT HOT day here in F-Town....They are saying heat index of 105-110....So I guess I will stay inside and work as much as I can....I know this will never work, but I guess I can only hope...:0)

Still have about 3 more loads of laundry to do today....Yesterday, I finished about 5 loads and then I quit....I was worn out from the whole trip...A bit of jet lag I guess....It was all well worth it though....Didn't sleep the best last night so am still tired today...I hate starting out Monday being tired....Oh well, I will just have to push myself to finish everything I want to get done around here....

The weathermen have a 20-30% chance of rain I think for about everyday....They just don't want to miss being wrong one day, I think...Or they try to build our hopes up....The building up hopes isn't working so well here....Man, has the mood changed really fast since vacation....It is like living with a bear in a den...YIKES!!!!  I'm trying to keep my distance and my mouth shut...LOL...I know keeping the mouth shut is very hard for me...Always like to get my 2 cents worth in....:0)  Life would be boring without me around here...Of course, Jerry might tell you differently, but he likes to joke around a lot....

How was everybodies weekend????  Hope you all had an enjoyable one....

I don't really know a whole lot....Which I never do, but always like to check in on the website when I can....Love hearing from all of you...Of course there are quite a few of you that is not talking...We want to hear from each and everyone....:0)

As for the pic's from the weekend reunion...I outsourced all of the picture taking to someone else!! I do have to say that anyone that is on the fence about coming next year that you won't be disappointed. Got to see alot of people from other classes that I hadn't in over 30 years!! The night was way to short to talk to all of them though!!! And if you do come, come early because some of our classmates seem to like to sing at Chuckles bar on the friday night before!!! Those pic's seemed to have disappeared???

Wondering if any of our classmates are going to Wilbur this weekend??? Fuzzy is going to be working over time on baking her popular little treats..bet you can't guess what they are??

Things are good here in Lincoln...Huskers are about to start 2 adays. So it won't be long.

Good Morning classmates....

It was a VERY HOT day yesterday....The temperature reading was 109 at one point....UGH....Oh you could hardly breathe it was so hot....Today is going to be another hot one and then it is SUPPOSE to cool down...Maybe even in the 80's....Get the sweaters out!!!! 

Still no rain here...

Little Buddy...Nice to see you came on the website...Love it when you post!!!  Where the hell are all these pictures???  You need to be getting ahold of people to get them posted...I'm sure there are some good ones...LOL...Especially the dirty dancing one....;0) ....Dear one, I am being patient with the rain, but Big Jer and our crops are not doing that so much...Maybe if you would come down and talk to our plants that would help....Think you can fit this into your schedule???  Tell the Mrs. hello...She looked gorgeous as usual on the FB pictures....You have a good one!!!!

Sweet Pea...I hope you are not melting away working with your cows on these hot hot days...We can't being having that....Such a busy time of year for you....Wish you lived closer so we could get together for lunch and do some cussing and discussing....Hopefully we can do that sometime in the future...:0)  Have a great day and try to keep as cool as you can...Hugs, girlfriend...

My wonderful daughter, received a promotion within her company right before we left for vacation...What a nice way to leave on a trip...She is now a full time Agronomist at CPI...This is what she went to college for, so I guess all her hard work and all the money put into college has paid off....She is the FIRST, female Agronomist within this company.....Congrats, Lisa!!!

Well the laundry is finally all caught up, but I bet I could scavenge around and find another load...Thats the way the laundry department works....It is never fully done...

Need to run tons of errands today, but don't want to get out in the heat....I may melt, you know...I'm a pretty sweet girl...LOL

Another Hot one here too!!  Worked around 60 calves and 60 cows....still have a couple more days of it.  As I was finishing this afternoon and walking back to the house, I was just thinking if I only had a pool....I believe I would jump in......clothes and all!

Cindy, Congratulations to Lisa!  Agronomist?  That is really a mans field...all her hard work is paying off!  Will she stay in Holdredge area?  Will her job require her to travel too?  I'm very happy for her....It is so good to have our kids hopes and dreams come true!  Lunch...to discuss and cuss....Oh that would be so wonderful!  I know our topic of discussion would be our husbands and the weather and crops!  LOL

Well I best get back to my paper work....so I'm ready for tomorrow!

Hello classmates....

WHEW...it has been one busy day....It seems that we had to of been on vacation for a month...Why is there so much to catch up on when you are gone a week???  Crazy Crazy Crazy!!!! 

Just to let you know we got some wonderful much needed rain last night....In Daykin they had 3.25 inches....WooHoo....I think we had about 1.80 here or so...That is the least of my worries right now....Just need to get some rain on all the farmers crops....Big Jer was sure a smiling this morning when I got up...It was great to see that again..

It is in the upper 80's here but still really humid....So it feels hot and you still sweat your butt of if you go out and do anything....

So what exciting has been going on in everybodys lives????  Still waiting for pictures on here of the Total Sound Reunion....Hmmmm...Who has all the pictures????  Share them with us please...

Need to get going and get a few more things done and then off to cooking a delicious dinner....Don't know what it is going to be yet, but I just know it will be good....I have a lot of convidence in myself....

Good Morning....

The temps have dropped a bit here but it still is pretty warm with all the humidity...Last night on the weather channel it said we had 92% humidity....So I guess no need for me to fix my hair pretty as it will just end up in a frizzled mess...LOL...

Big Jer said the perfect rainfall we had the other night sure made those crops a lot happier...Good to hear that...Hopefully they will be happy till they are harvested now...

Nothing exciting going on here in F-town as usual...The same ole crap just another day....Of course if you want excitement here all you have to do is do something out of the ordinary and the whole town will know it....Some things never change in this town and that is all the gossiping and rumors....I believe about 1/2 the things I hear...I keep it to myself until I can find out it is the truth...People do love to talk here....

Two more weeks with having my son home with me...It is starting to hit me a bit...This will be the last summer he will live in my home....:0(  I know he is ready to be on his own, and into the real world....We have had some great talks and wonderful times together this summer....He won't be to far away as he will be moving back to F-Town....:0)  My nest is definately going to be empty...:0(

Good Morning all....WHEW...It has been a HOT HOT weekend....Yesterday, I went to the store and wondered why I was dripping wet....My car showed 104 and the heat index was 115....Okay, so I have reason to sweat....It almost took your breath away when you came out of a cool building into the heat....Today is suppose to be the same way....UGH...If only I could just stay inside...That would be great...

Well, it looks like everybody must be busy.....No one has posted for awhile...I beginning to feel like I'm talking to myself, AGAIN!!!!

Nothing exciting going on here in F-Town...It can be kind of boring at times, but I still love living here...It is definately my stomping grounds....If you would like to stomp with me then come call me up and we will stomp together...LOL

Need to get going and run some errands...I WILL be talking with you later....

Morning All, Hope your weekend went well... We spent ours at Grand Island, in-laws 50th wedding anniversary... Had a good time catching up on things....

Big biker week this week, loads of them on hiway 2 coming home yesterday... Thought maybe we were going to clip 2 of them, they decided to pass us in a blind spot with on coming traffic coming, this was 2 seperate occasions... O'well it's their life...

Good Morning classmates.....

It was a scoarcher yesterday....It was about 100 at 2:30...I'm sure the high for the day was even hotter...Then add on to that the heat index....It is suppose to be the same today and tomorrow......The beautiful rain we had last week will be pretty much gone before we know it....Could use some more....The lawns in F-town are sure showing stress....People just can't keep up with them....I guess it isn't only people that get stress from the hot hot weather...

Keilwitz...Nice to hear from you as always....Sounds like you had a great time with family on the weekend....It is always a good time to be with our loved ones....Good food, good conversations, what more could a person want...And to celebrate 50 years of marriage for your in-laws...What an accomplishment...You know in this day and age, there are very few that will make it to see 50 years of marriage to the same spouse....Well, I guess I have 22 more years to go!!!!  LOL...Wishing you a great week....About time to send the kids off to school....Wishing them all the best too!!!!

High School football practice has officially started as of yesterday....I don't know how they could survive with the heat and all....I seen on the news last night that at Wahoo Ne. they had their football practice at 12:00 a.m.  Makes a lot of sense...They had family and friends that were at the practice to help support the team....Sounded to me like a good thing to do...

Well, the clocks a ticking, so I suppose I best get on with the day....I work by the hour you know...LOL...Just better get things done around here or the 50 years of marriage with Big Jer won't be happening...LOL...

Morning Boys and Girls, Looks like everyone is giving their air conditioners a work out... Will we be saying the same thing in January???

Looks like today is going to be a lake day, get one more time in before the kids head back to school... Abby is going back Monday, then Morgan heads out Thursday, and Ty starts on Thursday, so summer is coming to an end... I think we have a little more school clothes shopping to do, so Saturday looks like it will get spent in Ft. Collins doing that...

Supposedly this is the last day of this HOT STEAMY weather...WHEW....It has been just a bit ridiculous out....And believe it or not, but we usually have wind, not a breath of it around....Can't wait for the cool front to come....Pray that it brings lots of rain too....

Sweet Pea....Those Mamas have to be so miserable having babies in the heat....I know I would of been a bit crotchity if I would of had to deliver in this heat....I'm glad they have you to help them through this joyous time...You are the best cow care giver there is...Hang in there...Miss you ...

Keilwitz....Glad to hear your kids are all organized to go back to school....Where did the summer go???  Went so fast....Now, me drinking plenty of fluids....Is that any kind of fluid or just water????  Have fun at the lake adn take care....

Since I have bitched about how hot it has been the past two or three weeks, I thought I had better get on here to report how wonderful it is now!  (Plus, I don't like to hear Cindy yelling at us) ;)  I love these temps!  We are getting lots of babies right now, and I can tell "The Girls" are enjoying this refreshing break from the heat!  Besides being watchman over the calving herd, I can see corn chopping is in my near future!  The corn that was planted and then replanted is starting to fire.   And no, my truck has not been painted pink yet!

Morning All, Hope your week is going well... Things are getting quieter around the house, Abby left Monday, and Morgan left yesterday for Omaha, so now Ty gets to play only child... He's excited, today we go to Scottsbluff to get his braces off, so he gets to start high school without them, which is Friday... School starts for everyone else today, I guess feshman get a delayed start...

Still a little warm here, hit 98 yesterday, predicted temps like that the rest of the week... Well guys gotta get ready to head out, have a great day...

 Jim K West,  not that you dont keep busy enough, now all the Highschool actvities are about to keep you humping. Oh well, enjoy it while you can, it will all be over before you know it.

 Cindy P/J, What Hell, How many kids do you have now?? Those Mama's are spittin'em out right and left. Did ya get all the paintin done? Maybe you should try to get ahold of Messing and punish him for not getting on here. Make him paint with a tooth brush.... I don't suppose the Old Man is slowing down any is He?? He should delegate more of the work to your Hired Hands. Tell the Ole Boy Hello from me..

 Will be coming back on Sept.17th-26th. Hopefully I can maybe run into some of the Mates while back. It is a long stay, but is nice so we don't have to rush to see all we want to see. We got 19 dollar flights on Allegiant, so thought what the hell. Lets get back to God's Country for awhile. Gettin tired of Big City Life. 3 more murders last night. Averaging 1 a day right now... We have had 5 within 1/2 mile of our Warehouse. Nice neighbor (Huh).

Husker season is right around the corner, thank-God. Weekends are Dragging on with nothing to watch. Barb and I have been saving up. We Have a New Casino about 6 Blocks away from us that we frequent during Football season to make our wagers. Barb fairs better then I do, don't know how. She normally bets on the Best looking Coach or the best lookin Uniforms. So much for my looking at statistics and all that Shit.....

 Hope all is well Mates, Hopefully we can run into some of ya in a few weeks.

Since I'm on night watch, I thought I would send a quick message...

Bill, so you are going to be in Fairbury the middle of September...gosh, it would be good to have a get together....times like this is when I wish I lived closer!  Have a good stay in F-Town!

We have right around a 100 babies on the ground, the nursery pastures are fun to watch in the evenings, after it cools off, the baby calves run and play.  The rain we received earlier and then the showers we have gotten lately have kept the native pastures green.  The cattle grazing on the green grass is a site I never get tired of seeing.....so beautiful!  I'm about a third done with Fall calving.  And at this point, we have been having several everyday...but this project gets strung out until the middle of October usually.  They have been chopping corn here lately, and I have had to fill in some with driving.  Most of the fields are within a mile, which is a huge help...and they don't need the extra driver and truck!

Cindy, Do you have Tyler off to school yet?  Or are the guys planting wheat?  I have heard it has gotten dry up there, surely you are not combining yet?  I have missed your post....seems too quiet with out you on here!    I know, it is just that time of the year where it seems everything needs our attention all at once!  The weather has been cooperating here and the guys are really getting much needed projects done...BUT, always a BUT...now the mower, John Deere MoCO broke down, A NEW MACHINE....we are having one problem after another with it.......so we are SOL with this 4th cutting of alfalfa.  Surprisingly, my husband has not gone through the roof on this one!  I guess his mind is on other things....so he doesn't have time to dwell on it.

Jim, the girls are all in the eastern part of the state?  WOW.....your house must be very quiet!  But having a freshman in the house yet will keep things hopping!  He must love having the house and parents all to himself, with all his sisters gone to school! Have you seen my Uncle Roy lately?  My Mom, his sister, said she talk to him a while ago....sounds like life is good. 

There are many of you that have not been on lately...PLEASE.....I WILL SAY IT AGAIN......

Greetings classmates....

WOW....I'm so glad you guys kept things a rolling on here....It has been busier than busy around here.... We have been swamped with getting things ready for harvest, and other farming duties,household things, errands, and getting Tyler off for his last year of college, it has been just a bit crazy....

Could be a early start to fall harvest this year....As, the crops are pretty much burned up already...Such a sad sight, when they looked so good earlier...The yields go down pretty much each and every day....:0(

Bill...Good to hear from you my friend....Life sounds like it is going good for you...Maybe we will have to get together when you are back for a cold one....Hopefully I could get away if harvesting is in full swing....You see, I hired man went back to college....He will come home some weekends to help out though...And no I don't get to have those cold ones very often....Maybe once a week on a good week...You take care and hugs to you and Barb....

Keilwitz....I know what that quiet feeling is like....It is a bit eerie!!!  It is strange how the laundry has slowed down, not as many dishes, not as much garbage, I miss it believe it or not....Ty will truly enjoy being the only child now....And the girls will say, he gets to get away with a lot more than I ever did....I always told Lisa that she was the first child, so I learned my mistakes from raising her and that led to different situations with Tyler....It is true though....Wishing you a wonderful day...Let us know how the girls are liking school....Take Care...

You know it is rather strange that at one point and time Nippler and Little Buddy had a contest going on Maters....Haven't heard a word about maters this year....Of course Nippler doesn't seem to have time for us anymore....Maybe he making salsa or something....

Morning All. Nice morning out today, 60 and clear, suppose to be cooler this week around 80...  Everbody is offically back in school, sounds like we have the first day jitters over with and soon the normal routine will begin to take over... No fall sports for us this year so maybe I can get some other things done...

Cindy P, I haven't seen your uncle Roy lately, last I knew he was spending some extra time with his grandkids. He said he backed off on some of the side jobs he was doing, I know Dan Robinson said he had helped him do some haying last year, I'm sure he did the same this year... Working the night shift, I can relate to that, that was me last time at work, go to work when the sun sets and watch it come up in the morning, at least it was a full moon, have a few this to see...

Cindy G, Quieter house, it's strange, cooking for three, less laundry, walking by the other bedroom that's now empty... I know things can't stay the same, other wise we'd all be back in high school running around picking on each other, not a care in the world....

 Bill Sell, When you get back are you planning to attend an NU football game?? Sounds like there is always plenty of action in your town, maybe I'm better off out here in the sticks where nothing ever happens...
